6 When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit, and ate; and she gave some to her husband with her, and he ate.

21 When I saw among the spoil a beautiful Babylonian robe, two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold weighing fifty shekels, then I coveted them and took them. Behold, they are hidden in the ground in the middle of my tent, with the silver under it."

1 It happened after these things, that Naboth the Jezreelite had a vineyard, which was in Jezreel, hard by the palace of Ahab king of Samaria.
2 Ahab spoke to Naboth, saying, "Give me your vineyard, that I may have it for a garden of herbs, because it is near to my house; and I will give you for it a better vineyard than it. Or, if it seems good to you, I will give you its worth in money."
3 Naboth said to Ahab, "May Yahweh forbid me, that I should give the inheritance of my fathers to you!"
4 Ahab came into his house sullen and angry because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him; for he had said, "I will not give you the inheritance of my fathers." He laid himself down on his bed, and turned away his face, and would eat no bread.

      Psaumes 19

7 Yahweh's law is perfect, restoring the soul. Yahweh's testimony is sure, making wise the simple.
8 Yahweh's precepts are right, rejoicing the heart. Yahweh's commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9 The fear of Yahweh is clean, enduring forever. Yahweh's ordinances are true, and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, yes, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the extract of the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them is your servant warned. In keeping them there is great reward.
12 Who can discern his errors? Forgive me from hidden errors.

      Psaumes 119

96 I have seen a limit to all perfection, but your commands are boundless.

      Michée 2

2 They covet fields, and seize them; and houses, and take them away: and they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.

5 But if our unrighteousness commends the righteousness of God, what will we say? Is God unrighteous who inflicts wrath? I speak like men do.
20 Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin.

      Romains 4

1 What then will we say that Abraham, our forefather, has found according to the flesh?
15 For the law works wrath, for where there is no law, neither is there disobedience.

      Romains 6

15 What then? Shall we sin, because we are not under law, but under grace? May it never be!

      Romains 7

5 For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were through the law, worked in our members to bring forth fruit to death.
7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? May it never be! However, I wouldn't have known sin, except through the law. For I wouldn't have known coveting, unless the law had said, "You shall not covet."
8 But sin, finding occasion through the commandment, produced in me all kinds of coveting. For apart from the law, sin is dead.
11 for sin, finding occasion through the commandment, deceived me, and through it killed me.
13 Did then that which is good become death to me? May it never be! But sin, that it might be shown to be sin, by working death to me through that which is good; that through the commandment sin might become exceeding sinful.

      Romains 13

9 For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not give false testimony," "You shall not covet," and whatever other commandments there are, are all summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
