World English Bible Saul asked counsel of God, "Shall I go down after the Philistines? Will you deliver them into the hand of Israel?" But he didn't answer him that day.

Ne répondit pas. Le silence de Dieu est la preuve que le sentiment du grand sacrificateur était fondé. La question posée à Dieu ne devait pas être résolue avant que cette affaire eût reçu sa solution.
