Pour faire les distributions : pour leur remettre leur part des prémices, des dîmes et des choses consacrées (verset 12), ainsi que des dons volontaires (verset 14) ; mais la viande destinée aux sacrificateurs n'était sans doute pas envoyée dans la province, à cause du risque de corruption.

Grands et petits : ceux qui, étant trop vieux ou trop jeunes, ne pouvaient venir au temple.
