Ces paroles sont adressées à Sion. Rétablie, elle voit accourir à elle enchaînés (des liens d'une servitude volontaire) les peuples païens qui l'avaient autrefois asservie (50.9 et suivants, 14.2). Ils viennent rendre hommage à Jéhova et à son peuple, qui est au milieu d'eux comme une nation de prêtres (ils te supplieront). Comparez Zacharie 8.23 ; 1Corinthiens 14.25 ; Apocalypse 3.9.
