Ezéchiel 16.4

Durant le dur temps de la servitude d'Egypte, le peuple, qui naissait alors à la vie nationale (puisqu'à son arrivée il n'était qu'une famille), fut privé de toute protection, semblable à un nouveau-né à qui les premiers soins font défaut.

Ton cordon... Serait-ce une allusion aux dispositions idolâtres et vicieuses qu'Israël avait apportées de Canaan et auxquelles il ne renonça point ?
