World English Bible Jacob came to Isaac his father, to Mamre, to Kiriath Arba (which is Hebron), where Abraham and Isaac lived as foreigners.

Mamré, la ville d'Arba, Hébron.Voir 13.18, note. Isaac était donc revenu plus au Nord, depuis que Jacob l'avait quitté à Béerséba.

Nous verrons au verset suivant que ce retour de Jacob auprès de son père peut avoir eu lieu longtemps avant la mort de ce dernier.
