On a compris l'expression tuer le juste de l'action lente de l'oppression qui plonge le pauvre dans la misère, la maladie et la mort.

Mais le terme : vous avez condamné indique une procédure juridique. Les deux verbes sont à prendre au sens propre. Il s'agit d'un autre crime que celui décrit dans les versets précédents.

L'auteur a en vue des actes de persécution exercés contre les serviteurs de Dieu (Sapience 2 :12-20 1Jean 3.12) et contre les disciples de Christ en particulier. (Matthieu 5.10)
