Lévitique 7.18

Que si on mange de la chair du sacrifice de ses prospérités le troisième jour, celui qui l'aura offert ne sera point agréé, [et] il ne lui sera point imputé comme une bonne action, ce sera une abomination, et la personne qui en aura mangé, portera son iniquité.

Double résultat de la désobéissance à la prescription du verset 17. Celui qui a offert le sacrifice, bien loin d'en recevoir une bénédiction, doit en offrir un nouveau, s'il veut atteindre le but qu'il s'est proposé ; puis il reste chargé, ainsi que ceux qui ont mangé avec lui de ces restes le troisième jour, d'un péché qui a besoin d'être expié.

Chose fétide. Même si cette chair n'était pas encore gâtée.
