Matthieu 24.27

ὥσπερ γὰρ ἡ ἀστραπὴ ἐξέρχεται ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν καὶ φαίνεται ἕως δυσμῶν, οὕτως ἔσται ἡ παρουσία τοῦ υἱοῦ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου·

Ce verset motive le précédent (car), et la saisissante image par laquelle Jésus annonce son avènement n'indique pas seulement ce qu'il aura d'inopiné, d'inattendu, mais surtout la manifestation éclatante dont il sera accompagné.
