Il avait été voulu de Dieu, il est vrai, mais uniquement comme châtiment momentané, et la dynastie de David n'en restait pas moins la seule qui eût reçu les promesses (2Samuel 7.1-29). L'avenir du peuple était donc lié à celui de cette famille. Aussi le retour à David est-il toujours envisagé comme l'idéal. Cet idéal voulu de Dieu se réalisera pleinement, quand le vrai David, le Messie, sera devenu le seul roi et chef de son peuple, et que tout Israël sera sauvé (Romains 9.26) ; alors seulement s'accomplira cette prophétie. La bible annotée Commentaire de Matthew Henry Et les fils de Juda... se donneront un même chef... Par le retour des dix tribus à David et à sa famille, le schisme prendra fin. Il avait été voulu de Dieu, il est vrai, mais uniquement comme châtiment momentané, et la dynastie de David n'en restait pas moins la seule qui eût reçu les promesses (2Samuel 7.1-29). L'avenir du peuple était donc lié à celui de cette famille. Aussi le retour à David est-il toujours envisagé comme l'idéal. Cet idéal voulu de Dieu se réalisera pleinement, quand le vrai David, le Messie, sera devenu le seul roi et chef de son peuple, et que tout Israël sera sauvé (Romains 9.26) ; alors seulement s'accomplira cette prophétie. Il y a eu sans doute déjà, au temps de Zorobabel, un premier retour du peuple dirigé par ce chef issu de la famille de David, mais ce ne fut qu'une partie du peuple qui rentra alors en Judée.Et monteront hors du pays... Ce pays ne peut être la Palestine, Canaan étant toujours dans l'Ancien Testament le symbole du bonheur. C'est ici une allusion à Exode 1.10 ; le pays, c'est l'Egypte, comme type de toutes les contrées où le peuple aura été exilé et dispersé ; le terme monter s'explique, parce qu'il faut monter pour aller d'Egypte en Canaan.Car grande est la journée de Jizréel... Une nouvelle journée de Jizréel se lèvera, et elle sera l'opposé de la précédente (verset 5). Celle-ci avait amené la ruine d'Israël, et avait justifié le nom de Jizréel, dans le sens fâcheux de Dieu disperse ; la journée nouvelle justifiera aussi ce nom, mais dans le sens favorable de Dieu sème. Tout Israël réuni deviendra une sainte semence, une glorieuse plantation de Dieu (14.5-7 ; Esaïe 61.3). Cette promesse se rapporte sans doute au peuple de Dieu des derniers temps, qui comprendra à la fois l'Israël converti et l'Eglise des Gentils formant ensemble le peuple messianique ; ainsi seulement s'expliquent les expressions : en aussi grand nombre que le sable de la mer qui ne peut ni se mesurer ni se compter (verset 10). La bible annotée Commentaire de Matthew Henry Et les fils de Juda... se donneront un même chef... Par le retour des dix tribus à David et à sa famille, le schisme prendra fin. Il avait été voulu de Dieu, il est vrai, mais uniquement comme châtiment momentané, et la dynastie de David n'en restait pas moins la seule qui eût reçu les promesses (2Samuel 7.1-29). L'avenir du peuple était donc lié à celui de cette famille. Aussi le retour à David est-il toujours envisagé comme l'idéal. Cet idéal voulu de Dieu se réalisera pleinement, quand le vrai David, le Messie, sera devenu le seul roi et chef de son peuple, et que tout Israël sera sauvé (Romains 9.26) ; alors seulement s'accomplira cette prophétie. Il y a eu sans doute déjà, au temps de Zorobabel, un premier retour du peuple dirigé par ce chef issu de la famille de David, mais ce ne fut qu'une partie du peuple qui rentra alors en Judée.Et monteront hors du pays... Ce pays ne peut être la Palestine, Canaan étant toujours dans l'Ancien Testament le symbole du bonheur. C'est ici une allusion à Exode 1.10 ; le pays, c'est l'Egypte, comme type de toutes les contrées où le peuple aura été exilé et dispersé ; le terme monter s'explique, parce qu'il faut monter pour aller d'Egypte en Canaan.Car grande est la journée de Jizréel... Une nouvelle journée de Jizréel se lèvera, et elle sera l'opposé de la précédente (verset 5). Celle-ci avait amené la ruine d'Israël, et avait justifié le nom de Jizréel, dans le sens fâcheux de Dieu disperse ; la journée nouvelle justifiera aussi ce nom, mais dans le sens favorable de Dieu sème. Tout Israël réuni deviendra une sainte semence, une glorieuse plantation de Dieu (14.5-7 ; Esaïe 61.3). Cette promesse se rapporte sans doute au peuple de Dieu des derniers temps, qui comprendra à la fois l'Israël converti et l'Eglise des Gentils formant ensemble le peuple messianique ; ainsi seulement s'expliquent les expressions : en aussi grand nombre que le sable de la mer qui ne peut ni se mesurer ni se compter (verset 10). La bible annotée Commentaire de Matthew Henry Et les fils de Juda... se donneront un même chef... Par le retour des dix tribus à David et à sa famille, le schisme prendra fin. Il avait été voulu de Dieu, il est vrai, mais uniquement comme châtiment momentané, et la dynastie de David n'en restait pas moins la seule qui eût reçu les promesses (2Samuel 7.1-29). L'avenir du peuple était donc lié à celui de cette famille. Aussi le retour à David est-il toujours envisagé comme l'idéal. Cet idéal voulu de Dieu se réalisera pleinement, quand le vrai David, le Messie, sera devenu le seul roi et chef de son peuple, et que tout Israël sera sauvé (Romains 9.26) ; alors seulement s'accomplira cette prophétie. Il y a eu sans doute déjà, au temps de Zorobabel, un premier retour du peuple dirigé par ce chef issu de la famille de David, mais ce ne fut qu'une partie du peuple qui rentra alors en Judée.Et monteront hors du pays... Une nouvelle journée de Jizréel se lèvera, et elle sera l'opposé de la précédente (verset 5). Celle-ci avait amené la ruine d'Israël, et avait justifié le nom de Jizréel, dans le sens fâcheux de Dieu disperse ; la journée nouvelle justifiera aussi ce nom, mais dans le sens favorable de Dieu sème. Tout Israël réuni deviendra une sainte semence, une glorieuse plantation de Dieu (14.5-7 ; Esaïe 61.3). Cette promesse se rapporte sans doute au peuple de Dieu des derniers temps, qui comprendra à la fois l'Israël converti et l'Eglise des Gentils formant ensemble le peuple messianique ; ainsi seulement s'expliquent les expressions : en aussi grand nombre que le sable de la mer qui ne peut ni se mesurer ni se compter (verset 10).
