Voir sur ce terme verset 1, note ; verset 16, note ; comparez versets 17,19,21. Plus l'apôtre avance dans cette voie où il a été forcé d'entrer, plus il en sent la folie devant Dieu, et aussi il éprouve toujours plus le besoin de répéter et d'exprimer fortement le jugement qu'il en porte.

Il ne refuse pas précisément à ses adversaires le titre de serviteurs de Christ, mais s'ils le sont, combien plus lui !

Plus qu'eux tous.

Grec : "En morts," par où il faut bien entendre en dangers de mort, et surtout cette mort lente et continue à laquelle il était exposé. (1Corinthiens 15.31 ; 2Corinthiens 4.11 ; Romains 8.36)
