L'Eternel s'adresse directement aux captifs eux-mêmes et développe la promesse renfermée dans les mots pour : pour un peu de temps.

Je vous donnerai c'est ici la réponse de Jéhova à la moquerie de ceux qui habitent actuellement le pays de Juda et qui disent : Vous êtes en exil, restez-y !

Canaan est un don que Dieu va, comme tout à nouveau faire à son peuple après le bannissement de l'exil.
