C'est l'autel qui occupe toute l'attention du prophète, car il s'agit pour lui, non pas de fonder, mais de figurer un état de choses nouveau. Une autre différence à noter consiste en ce que l'importance est ici accordée essentiellement aux sacrifices d'holocaustes. Les victimes d'expiation ne sont qu'un taureau le premier jour (verset 19 et un bouc (verset 22), victime d'ordre inférieur, les six autres jours, tandis que dans le passage cité du Lévitique, elles avaient été d'un taureau et d'un bélier tous les sept jours de l'inauguration, plus un bélier spécialement pour la consécration des sacrificateurs. D'autre part, l'holocauste devra être d'un taureau et d'un bouc chaque jour (versets 23 et 24), tandis que dans le Lévitique, il avait été d'un taureau seulement. Cette différence est caractéristique pour la signification du nouveau culte, qui est surtout un culte d'holocaustes.Le jour où il sera construit. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh. 14 "'If his offering to Yahweh is a burnt offering of birds, then he shall offer his offering of turtledoves, or of young pigeons. 15 The priest shall bring it to the altar, and wring off its head, and burn it on the altar; and its blood shall be drained out on the side of the altar; 16 and he shall take away its crop with its filth, and cast it beside the altar on the east part, in the place of the ashes. 17 He shall tear it by its wings, but shall not divide it apart. The priest shall burn it on the altar, on the wood that is on the fire. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh. Lévitique 8 18 He presented the ram of the burnt offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram. 19 He killed it; and Moses sprinkled the blood around on the altar. 20 He cut the ram into its pieces; and Moses burned the head, and the pieces, and the fat. 21 He washed the innards and the legs with water; and Moses burned the whole ram on the altar. It was a burnt offering for a pleasant aroma. It was an offering made by fire to Yahweh; as Yahweh commanded Moses. Lévitique 16 19 He shall sprinkle some of the blood on it with his finger seven times, and cleanse it, and make it holy from the uncleanness of the children of Israel. Ezéchiel 2 1 He said to me, Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak with you. Ezéchiel 43 18 He said to me, Son of man, thus says the Lord Yahweh: These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon. Ezéchiel 45 18 Thus says the Lord Yahweh: In the first [month], in the first [day] of the month, you shall take a young bull without blemish; and you shall cleanse the sanctuary. 19 The priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering, and put it on the door posts of the house, and on the four corners of the ledge of the altar, and on the posts of the gate of the inner court. Hébreux 9 13 For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled, sanctify to the cleanness of the flesh: 21 Moreover he sprinkled the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry in the same way with the blood. 22 According to the law, nearly everything is cleansed with blood, and apart from shedding of blood there is no remission. Hébreux 10 4 For it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins. 5 Therefore when he comes into the world, he says, "Sacrifice and offering you didn't desire, but you prepared a body for me; 6 You had no pleasure in whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin. 7 Then I said, 'Behold, I have come (in the scroll of the book it is written of me) to do your will, O God.'" 8 Previously saying, "Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin you didn't desire, neither had pleasure in them" (those which are offered according to the law), 9 then he has said, "Behold, I have come to do your will." He takes away the first, that he may establish the second, 10 by which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. 11 Every priest indeed stands day by day serving and often offering the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins, 12 but he, when he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God; Hébreux 12 24 to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better than that of Abel.
