Je me savais soutenu par les juges, littéralement : Je me voyais du secours à la porte, là où se rend la justice. Job savait que grâce à sa haute situation, il aurait facilement trouvé des juges disposés à le disculper, alors même qu'il aurait abusé de son pouvoir pour écraser un orphelin.
