Hérode tremble pour son autorité pour son trône, peut-être à cause de ses crimes. Et comme le moindre de ses soupçons avait souvent coûté la vie à plusieurs, la peur qu'éprouva un tel tyran pouvait bien troubler ceux qui dépendaient de lui, tout Jérusalem.
