Est sans effet, littéralement : n'arrive pas, ne se pose pas. Une leçon mise en marge du texte hébreu remplace la négation ne... pas par les mots à lui : cette malédiction retombe sur celui qui l'a proférée. Mais le contexte et les images employées dans le premier membre parlent en faveur de la leçon du texte.
