Dieu ne détourne jamais le regard quand nous lui rappelons les promesses qu'Il a annoncées par l'intermédiaire de Celui qui est le Prophète, le Prêtre et le Roi. Quel immense amour que celui de Dieu pour l'homme, à tel point qu'Il en a créé l'église ! C'est Sa volonté de demeurer avec nous, malgré le manque de zèle que nous montrons à demeurer en Lui ! Dieu a demeuré en Sion, jusqu'à ce que les péchés d'Israël le poussent à les livrer à leurs ennemis. Ne nous abandonne pas, oh Dieu, et délivre-nous également, malgré notre état pécheur. Les enfants de Dieu jouissent d'une bénédiction spéciale lorsqu'ils sont réunis et ces moments bénis sont merveilleux. Les pauvres gens de Sion se contentent de peu ici-bas, car ils savent qu'ils ont de meilleures choses qui leur sont promises. Dieu nourrira et bénira abondamment ceux qui sont nés de nouveau, Il rassasiera le pauvre avec le pain de vie. Il donne plus que nous ne pouvons demander et quand Il offre le salut, Il l'accompagne d'une joie abondante. Dieu voudrait réduire à néant tous les projets destinés à détruire la maison de David, jusqu'à ce que le Messie y soit élevé et siège en Roi sur le trône de son Père. Il fait l'objet de toutes les promesses. Les ennemis, qui ne sont pas encore sous Son joug, seront, au dernier jour, couverts de honte et de confusion, à jamais.
