4 et 5 La situation.

Tu connais... Si je crie, ce n'est pas pour apprendre à Dieu ce qu'il ignorerait, car même quand mon esprit défaille, Dieu sait tout et voit tout.

Mon sentier : mes difficultés, mes dangers et aussi l'issue par laquelle tu m'en feras sortir.

Sur la route où... A partir ce ces mots et jusqu'à la fin du verset 5, puis de nouveau au verset 7, les stiches deviennent considérablement plus longs ; le psalmiste expose à Dieu comme par de longs appels sa triste position. Nous avons été obligés, dans la traduction, à la fin du verset 5 et au commencement du verset 7, de couper en deux quelques-uns de ces stiches pour lesquels l'espace nous aurait manqué.
