Dieu rappelle qu'il n'a pas parlé à Israël en cachette, mais au vu et au su des païens (Exode 15.11-16 ; Josué 2.9-11). Sa loi n'a pas été un thoou, un chaos, mais une révélation claire et lumineuse à laquelle ils auraient dû prendre garde.
