Tu fus parfait. Cette grande activité commerciale, à laquelle se livraient le roi et son peuple, n'avait en soi rien de criminel ; mais la mauvaise foi et l'injustice s'y sont mêlées et l'ont gâtée. Le prophète fait évidemment de cette chute morale du roi de Tyr, le pendant de la faute d'Adam. Suit la description du châtiment.
