28-29. Après l'exorde, début du verset 27, Isaac promet à son fils trois choses :

  • un pays fertile
  • la domination sur les peuples voisins et même sur les membres de sa propre race
  • une position telle que les hommes seront bénis ou maudits suivant l'attitude qu'ils prendront à son égard

Rosée des cieux. En été, d'abondantes rosées remplacent la pluie dans les contrées chaudes.

Bénédictions d'en-haut et bénédictions d'en-bas ; comme résultat, abondance de blé et de moût.
