Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! says Yahweh.

Therefore thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel, against the shepherds who feed my people: You have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them; behold, I will visit on you the evil of your doings, says Yahweh.
3
I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries where I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and multiply.
4
I will set up shepherds over them, who shall feed them; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall any be lacking, says Yahweh.
5
Behold, the days come, says Yahweh, that I will raise to David a righteous Branch, and he shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land.
6
In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely; and this is his name by which he shall be called: Yahweh our righteousness.
7
Therefore behold, the days come, says Yahweh, that they shall no more say, As Yahweh lives, who brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
8
but, As Yahweh lives, who brought up and who led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all the countries where I had driven them. They shall dwell in their own land.

Concerning the prophets. My heart within me is broken, all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine has overcome, because of Yahweh, and because of his holy words.

For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourns; the pastures of the wilderness are dried up. Their course is evil, and their might is not right;

for both prophet and priest are profane; yes, in my house have I found their wickedness, says Yahweh.
12
Therefore their way shall be to them as slippery places in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein; for I will bring evil on them, even the year of their visitation, says Yahweh.

I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied by Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.

In the prophets of Jerusalem also I have seen a horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies; and they strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that none does return from his wickedness: they are all of them become to me as Sodom, and its inhabitants as Gomorrah.

Therefore thus says Yahweh of Armies concerning the prophets: Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall; for from the prophets of Jerusalem is ungodliness gone forth into all the land.

Thus says Yahweh of Armies, Don't listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you: they teach you vanity; they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of Yahweh.

They say continually to those who despise me, Yahweh has said, You shall have peace; and to everyone who walks in the stubbornness of his own heart they say, No evil shall come on you.

For who has stood in the council of Yahweh, that he should perceive and hear his word? who has marked my word, and heard it?

Behold, the storm of Yahweh, his wrath, has gone forth. Yes, a whirling storm. It shall burst on the head of the wicked.

The anger of Yahweh shall not return, until he has executed, and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days you shall understand it perfectly.

But if they had stood in my council, then had they caused my people to hear my words, and had turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

Can any hide himself in secret places so that I shall not see him? says Yahweh. Don't I fill heaven and earth? says Yahweh.

I have heard what the prophets have said, who prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.

How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies, even the prophets of the deceit of their own heart?

who think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbor, as their fathers forgot my name for Baal.

The prophet who has a dream, let him tell a dream; and he who has my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the straw to the wheat? says Yahweh.

Isn't my word like fire? says Yahweh; and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?

Therefore behold, I am against the prophets, says Yahweh, who steal my words everyone from his neighbor.

Behold, I am against the prophets, says Yahweh, who use their tongues, and say, He says.

Behold, I am against those who prophesy lying dreams, says Yahweh, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their vain boasting: yet I didn't send them, nor commanded them; neither do they profit this people at all, says Yahweh.

When this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask you, saying, What is the burden of Yahweh? Then you shall tell them, What burden! I will cast you off, says Yahweh.

As for the prophet, and the priest, and the people, who shall say, The burden of Yahweh, I will even punish that man and his house.
35
You shall say everyone to his neighbor, and everyone to his brother, What has Yahweh answered? and, What has Yahweh spoken?
36
You shall mention the burden of Yahweh no more: for every man's own word shall be his burden; for you have perverted the words of the living God, of Yahweh of Armies our God.

You shall say to the prophet, What has Yahweh answered you? and, What has Yahweh spoken?
38
But if you say, The burden of Yahweh; therefore thus says Yahweh: Because you say this word, The burden of Yahweh, and I have sent to you, saying, You shall not say, The burden of Yahweh;
39
therefore, behold, I will utterly forget you, and I will cast you off, and the city that I gave to you and to your fathers, away from my presence:
40
and I will bring an everlasting reproach on you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.

Malheur aux bergers qui détruisent et dispersent le troupeau de mon pâturage ! dit l'Éternel.

C'est pourquoi ainsi a dit l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, touchant les bergers qui paissent mon peuple : Vous avez dispersé mes brebis ; vous les avez chassées et ne les avez pas visitées. Voici, je vais punir sur vous la malice de vos actions, dit l'Éternel.

Je rassemblerai le reste de mes brebis, de tous les pays où je les aurai chassées, et je les ramènerai à leurs pâturages, et elles seront fécondes et multiplieront.

J'établirai sur elles des pasteurs qui les paîtront ; elles n'auront plus de crainte ni d'épouvante, et il n'en manquera aucune, dit l'Éternel.

Voici, les jours viennent, dit l'Éternel, où je susciterai à David un germe juste. Il régnera en roi ; il prospérera, et il exercera le droit et la justice sur la terre.

En ses jours Juda sera sauvé, et Israël habitera en assurance ; et voici le nom dont on l'appellera : l'Éternel notre justice.

C'est pourquoi voici, les jours viennent, dit l'Éternel, où l'on ne dira plus : L'Éternel est vivant, lui qui a fait monter les enfants d'Israël du pays d'Égypte ;

Mais : L'Éternel est vivant, lui qui a fait monter et qui a ramené la postérité de la maison d'Israël du pays du Nord, et de tous les pays où je les aurai chassés ; et ils habiteront dans leur pays.

Sur les prophètes. Mon coeur est brisé au-dedans de moi ; tous mes os tremblent ; je suis comme un homme ivre, comme un homme que le vin a surmonté, à cause de l'Éternel et à cause de ses paroles saintes.

Car le pays est rempli d'adultères ; le pays est en deuil à cause de la malédiction ; les pâturages du désert sont desséchés. Leur course ne va qu'au mal, et leur force à ce qui n'est pas droit.

Car tant le prophète que le sacrificateur sont des profanes. Jusque dans ma maison je trouve leur méchanceté, dit l'Éternel.

C'est pourquoi leur chemin sera comme des lieux glissants dans les ténèbres ; ils y seront poussés et ils tomberont. Car je ferai venir le mal sur eux, dans l'année où je les visiterai, dit l'Éternel.
Des prophètes pires qu'à Samarie

Dans les prophètes de Samarie, j'avais bien vu de la folie ; ils prophétisaient par Baal ; ils égaraient mon peuple d'Israël.

Mais dans les prophètes de Jérusalem, je vois une chose horrible ; car ils commettent adultère, et ils marchent dans le mensonge. Ils fortifient les mains des méchants, afin qu'aucun ne se détourne de sa méchanceté. Ils me sont tous comme Sodome, et les habitants de la ville, comme Gomorrhe.

C'est pourquoi ainsi a dit l'Éternel des armées sur les prophètes : Voici, je vais les nourrir d'absinthe, et leur faire boire des eaux empoisonnées ; car l'impiété s'est répandue dans tout le pays, par les prophètes de Jérusalem.
Des prophètes menteurs

Ainsi a dit l'Éternel des armées : N'écoutez point les paroles des prophètes qui vous prophétisent ! Ils vous font devenir vains ; ils prononcent la vision de leur coeur, et non ce qui procède de la bouche de l'Éternel.

Ils ne cessent de dire à ceux qui me méprisent : L'Éternel a dit : Vous aurez la paix. Et à tous ceux qui marchent dans la dureté de leur coeur, ils disent : Il ne vous arrivera aucun mal.

Car qui s'est trouvé au conseil de l'Éternel ? Qui est-ce qui l'a vu, et a entendu sa parole ? Qui a prêté l'oreille à sa parole, et qui l'a entendue ?

Voici, la tempête de l'Éternel, la fureur éclate, et l'orage prêt à fondre tombera sur la tête des méchants.

La colère de l'Éternel ne se détournera pas, qu'il n'ait exécuté et accompli les pensées de son coeur. Vous aurez une claire intelligence de ceci dans les derniers jours.

Je n'ai pas envoyé ces prophètes, et ils ont couru ; je ne leur ai point parlé, et ils ont prophétisé !

S'ils s'étaient trouvés dans mon conseil, ils auraient aussi fait entendre mes paroles à mon peuple ; et ils les auraient détournés de leur mauvais train et de la malice de leurs actions.

Ne suis-je un Dieu que de près, dit l'Éternel, et ne suis-je pas aussi un Dieu de loin ?

Quelqu'un se cachera-t-il dans des cachettes où je ne le voie point ? dit l'Éternel. Ne remplis-je pas, moi, les cieux et la terre ? dit l'Éternel.

J'ai entendu ce que disent ces prophètes, qui prophétisent le mensonge en mon nom, en disant : "J'ai eu un songe, j'ai eu un songe."

Jusqu'à quand ? Ont-ils la pensée, ces prophètes qui prophétisent le mensonge, prophètes de la tromperie de leur coeur,

Ont-ils le projet de faire oublier mon nom à mon peuple, par les songes que chacun d'eux raconte à son prochain, comme leurs pères ont oublié mon nom pour Baal ?

Que le prophète qui a un songe, raconte le songe ; et que celui qui a ma parole, prononce ma parole en vérité. Qu'a à faire la paille avec le froment ? dit l'Éternel.

Ma parole n'est-elle pas comme un feu, dit l'Éternel, et comme un marteau qui brise le roc ?

C'est pourquoi voici, dit l'Éternel, j'en veux aux prophètes, qui se dérobent mes paroles l'un à l'autre.

Voici, dit l'Éternel, j'en veux aux prophètes qui parlent d'eux-mêmes et qui disent : "Il a dit."

Voici, j'en veux à ceux qui prophétisent des songes de fausseté, dit l'Éternel, qui les racontent, et qui égarent mon peuple par leurs mensonges et par leur témérité ; bien que je ne les aie pas envoyés et que je ne leur aie point donné de charge, en sorte qu'ils n'apportent aucun profit à ce peuple, dit l'Éternel.

Et si ce peuple, ou le prophète, ou un sacrificateur t'interroge, et te dit : Quelle est la menace de l'Éternel ? tu leur diras : Quelle est la menace ? C'est que je vous rejetterai, dit l'Éternel.

Et quant au prophète, au sacrificateur, et à l'homme du peuple qui dira : "Menace de l'Éternel", je punirai cet homme-là et sa maison.

Vous direz ainsi, chacun à son prochain et chacun à son frère : "Qu'a répondu l'Éternel, et qu'a prononcé l'Éternel ?"

Et vous ne parlerez plus de la menace de l'Éternel ; car la parole de chacun sera sa menace, et vous pervertissez les paroles du Dieu vivant, de l'Éternel des armées, notre Dieu.

Tu diras ainsi au prophète : Que t'a répondu l'Éternel, ou qu'a prononcé l'Éternel ?

Et si vous dites : "La menace de l'Éternel" ; à cause de cela, a dit l'Éternel, parce que vous dites cette parole : "La menace de l'Éternel", et que j'ai envoyé vers vous pour vous dire : Ne dites pas : "La menace de l'Éternel",

A cause de cela, je vous oublierai entièrement, et je rejetterai de ma présence et vous et la ville que j'ai donnée à vous et à vos pères ;

Et je mettrai sur vous un opprobre éternel, et une confusion éternelle qui ne s'oubliera point.

וַהֲקִמֹתִ֧י עֲלֵיהֶ֛ם רֹעִ֖ים וְרָע֑וּם וְלֹא־יִֽירְא֨וּ ע֧וֹד וְלֹא־יֵחַ֛תּוּ וְלֹ֥א יִפָּקֵ֖דוּ נְאֻם־יְהוָֽה׃

הִנֵּ֨ה יָמִ֤ים בָּאִים֙ נְאֻם־יְהוָ֔ה וַהֲקִמֹתִ֥י לְדָוִ֖ד צֶ֣מַח צַדִּ֑יק וּמָ֤לַךְ מֶ֙לֶךְ֙ וְהִשְׂכִּ֔יל וְעָשָׂ֛ה מִשְׁפָּ֥ט וּצְדָקָ֖ה בָּאָֽרֶץ׃

בְּיָמָיו֙ תִּוָּשַׁ֣ע יְהוּדָ֔ה וְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל יִשְׁכֹּ֣ן לָבֶ֑טַח וְזֶה־שְּׁמ֥וֹ אֲֽשֶׁר־יִקְרְא֖וֹ יְהוָ֥ה ׀ צִדְקֵֽנוּ׃

לָכֵ֛ן הִנֵּֽה־יָמִ֥ים בָּאִ֖ים נְאֻם־יְהוָ֑ה וְלֹא־יֹ֤אמְרוּ עוֹד֙ חַי־יְהוָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֧ר הֶעֱלָ֛ה אֶת־בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מֵאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃

כִּ֣י אִם־חַי־יְהוָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר הֶעֱלָה֩ וַאֲשֶׁ֨ר הֵבִ֜יא אֶת־זֶ֨רַע בֵּ֤ית יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ צָפ֔וֹנָה וּמִכֹּל֙ הָֽאֲרָצ֔וֹת אֲשֶׁ֥ר הִדַּחְתִּ֖ים שָׁ֑ם וְיָשְׁב֖וּ עַל־אַדְמָתָֽם׃

כִּ֤י מְנָֽאֲפִים֙ מָלְאָ֣ה הָאָ֔רֶץ כִּֽי־מִפְּנֵ֤י אָלָה֙ אָבְלָ֣ה הָאָ֔רֶץ יָבְשׁ֖וּ נְא֣וֹת מִדְבָּ֑ר וַתְּהִ֤י מְרֽוּצָתָם֙ רָעָ֔ה וּגְבוּרָתָ֖ם לֹא־כֵֽן׃

כִּֽי־גַם־נָבִ֥יא גַם־כֹּהֵ֖ן חָנֵ֑פוּ גַּם־בְּבֵיתִ֛י מָצָ֥אתִי רָעָתָ֖ם נְאֻם־יְהוָֽה׃

לָכֵן֩ יִֽהְיֶ֨ה דַרְכָּ֜ם לָהֶ֗ם כַּחֲלַקְלַקּוֹת֙ בָּֽאֲפֵלָ֔ה יִדַּ֖חוּ וְנָ֣פְלוּ בָ֑הּ כִּֽי־אָבִ֨יא עֲלֵיהֶ֥ם רָעָ֛ה שְׁנַ֥ת פְּקֻדָּתָ֖ם נְאֻם־יְהוָֽה׃

וּבִנְבִאֵ֨י יְרוּשָׁלִַ֜ם רָאִ֣יתִי שַׁעֲרוּרָ֗ה נָא֞וֹף וְהָלֹ֤ךְ בַּשֶּׁ֙קֶר֙ וְחִזְּקוּ֙ יְדֵ֣י מְרֵעִ֔ים לְבִ֨לְתִּי־שָׁ֔בוּ אִ֖ישׁ מֵרָֽעָת֑וֹ הָֽיוּ־לִ֤י כֻלָּם֙ כִּסְדֹ֔ם וְיֹשְׁבֶ֖יהָ כַּעֲמֹרָֽה׃

לָכֵ֞ן כֹּֽה־אָמַ֨ר יְהוָ֤ה צְבָאוֹת֙ עַל־הַנְּבִאִ֔ים הִנְנִ֨י מַאֲכִ֤יל אוֹתָם֙ לַֽעֲנָ֔ה וְהִשְׁקִתִ֖ים מֵי־רֹ֑אשׁ כִּ֗י מֵאֵת֙ נְבִיאֵ֣י יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם יָצְאָ֥ה חֲנֻפָּ֖ה לְכָל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃

כֹּֽה־אָמַ֞ר יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֗וֹת אַֽל־תִּשְׁמְע֞וּ עַל־דִּבְרֵ֤י הַנְּבִאִים֙ הַנִּבְּאִ֣ים לָכֶ֔ם מַהְבִּלִ֥ים הֵ֖מָּה אֶתְכֶ֑ם חֲז֤וֹן לִבָּם֙ יְדַבֵּ֔רוּ לֹ֖א מִפִּ֥י יְהוָֽה׃

אֹמְרִ֤ים אָמוֹר֙ לִֽמְנַאֲצַ֔י דִּבֶּ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה שָׁל֖וֹם יִֽהְיֶ֣ה לָכֶ֑ם וְ֠כֹל הֹלֵ֞ךְ בִּשְׁרִר֤וּת לִבּוֹ֙ אָֽמְר֔וּ לֹֽא־תָב֥וֹא עֲלֵיכֶ֖ם רָעָֽה׃

כִּ֣י מִ֤י עָמַד֙ בְּס֣וֹד יְהוָ֔ה וְיֵ֖רֶא וְיִשְׁמַ֣ע אֶת־דְּבָר֑וֹ מִֽי־הִקְשִׁ֥יב *דברי **דְּבָר֖וֹ וַיִּשְׁמָֽע׃

הִנֵּ֣ה ׀ סַעֲרַ֣ת יְהוָ֗ה חֵמָה֙ יָֽצְאָ֔ה וְסַ֖עַר מִתְחוֹלֵ֑ל עַ֛ל רֹ֥אשׁ רְשָׁעִ֖ים יָחֽוּל׃

לֹ֤א יָשׁוּב֙ אַף־יְהוָ֔ה עַד־עֲשֹׂת֥וֹ וְעַד־הֲקִימ֖וֹ מְזִמּ֣וֹת לִבּ֑וֹ בְּאַֽחֲרִית֙ הַיָּמִ֔ים תִּתְבּ֥וֹנְנוּ בָ֖הּ בִּינָֽה׃

לֹא־שָׁלַ֥חְתִּי אֶת־הַנְּבִאִ֖ים וְהֵ֣ם רָ֑צוּ לֹא־דִבַּ֥רְתִּי אֲלֵיהֶ֖ם וְהֵ֥ם נִבָּֽאוּ׃

וְאִֽם־עָמְד֖וּ בְּסוֹדִ֑י וְיַשְׁמִ֤עוּ דְבָרַי֙ אֶת־עַמִּ֔י וִֽישִׁבוּם֙ מִדַּרְכָּ֣ם הָרָ֔ע וּמֵרֹ֖עַ מַֽעַלְלֵיהֶֽם׃

הַאֱלֹהֵ֧י מִקָּרֹ֛ב אָ֖נִי נְאֻם־יְהוָ֑ה וְלֹ֥א אֱלֹהֵ֖י מֵרָחֹֽק׃

אִם־יִסָּתֵ֨ר אִ֧ישׁ בַּמִּסְתָּרִ֛ים וַאֲנִ֥י לֹֽא־אֶרְאֶ֖נּוּ נְאֻם־יְהוָ֑ה הֲל֨וֹא אֶת־הַשָּׁמַ֧יִם וְאֶת־הָאָ֛רֶץ אֲנִ֥י מָלֵ֖א נְאֻם־יְהוָֽה׃

שָׁמַ֗עְתִּי אֵ֤ת אֲשֶׁר־אָֽמְרוּ֙ הַנְּבִאִ֔ים הַֽנִּבְּאִ֥ים בִּשְׁמִ֛י שֶׁ֖קֶר לֵאמֹ֑ר חָלַ֖מְתִּי חָלָֽמְתִּי׃

עַד־מָתַ֗י הֲיֵ֛שׁ בְּלֵ֥ב הַנְּבִאִ֖ים נִבְּאֵ֣י הַשָּׁ֑קֶר וּנְבִיאֵ֖י תַּרְמִ֥ת לִבָּֽם׃

הַחֹשְׁבִ֗ים לְהַשְׁכִּ֤יחַ אֶת־עַמִּי֙ שְׁמִ֔י בַּחֲל֣וֹמֹתָ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר יְסַפְּר֖וּ אִ֣ישׁ לְרֵעֵ֑הוּ כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר שָׁכְח֧וּ אֲבוֹתָ֛ם אֶת־שְׁמִ֖י בַּבָּֽעַל׃

הַנָּבִ֞יא אֲשֶׁר־אִתּ֤וֹ חֲלוֹם֙ יְסַפֵּ֣ר חֲל֔וֹם וַאֲשֶׁ֤ר דְּבָרִי֙ אִתּ֔וֹ יְדַבֵּ֥ר דְּבָרִ֖י אֱמֶ֑ת מַה־לַתֶּ֥בֶן אֶת־הַבָּ֖ר נְאֻם־יְהוָֽה׃

הֲל֨וֹא כֹ֧ה דְבָרִ֛י כָּאֵ֖שׁ נְאֻם־יְהוָ֑ה וּכְפַטִּ֖ישׁ יְפֹ֥צֵֽץ סָֽלַע׃

לָכֵ֛ן הִנְנִ֥י עַל־הַנְּבִאִ֖ים נְאֻם־יְהוָ֑ה מְגַנְּבֵ֣י דְבָרַ֔י אִ֖ישׁ מֵאֵ֥ת רֵעֵֽהוּ׃
31
הִנְנִ֥י עַל־הַנְּבִיאִ֖ם נְאֻם־יְהוָ֑ה הַלֹּקְחִ֣ים לְשׁוֹנָ֔ם וַֽיִּנְאֲמ֖וּ נְאֻֽם׃
32
הִ֠נְנִי עַֽל־נִבְּאֵ֞י חֲלֹמ֥וֹת שֶׁ֙קֶר֙ נְאֻם־יְהוָ֔ה וַֽיְסַפְּרוּם֙ וַיַּתְע֣וּ אֶת־עַמִּ֔י בְּשִׁקְרֵיהֶ֖ם וּבְפַחֲזוּתָ֑ם וְאָנֹכִ֨י לֹֽא־שְׁלַחְתִּ֜ים וְלֹ֣א צִוִּיתִ֗ים וְהוֹעֵ֛יל לֹֽא־יוֹעִ֥ילוּ לָֽעָם־הַזֶּ֖ה נְאֻם־יְהוָֽה׃

וְכִי־יִשְׁאָלְךָ֩ הָעָ֨ם הַזֶּ֜ה אֽוֹ־הַנָּבִ֤יא אֽוֹ־כֹהֵן֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר מַה־מַשָּׂ֖א יְהוָ֑ה וְאָמַרְתָּ֤ אֲלֵיהֶם֙ אֶת־מַה־מַשָּׂ֔א וְנָטַשְׁתִּ֥י אֶתְכֶ֖ם נְאֻם־יְהוָֽה׃
34
וְהַנָּבִ֤יא וְהַכֹּהֵן֙ וְהָעָ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר יֹאמַ֖ר מַשָּׂ֣א יְהוָ֑ה וּפָקַדְתִּ֛י עַל־הָאִ֥ישׁ הַה֖וּא וְעַל־בֵּיתֽוֹ׃
35
כֹּ֥ה תֹאמְר֛וּ אִ֥ישׁ עַל־רֵעֵ֖הוּ וְאִ֣ישׁ אֶל־אָחִ֑יו מֶה־עָנָ֣ה יְהוָ֔ה וּמַה־דִּבֶּ֖ר יְהוָֽה׃

וּמַשָּׂ֥א יְהוָ֖ה לֹ֣א תִזְכְּרוּ־ע֑וֹד כִּ֣י הַמַּשָּׂ֗א יִֽהְיֶה֙ לְאִ֣ישׁ דְּבָר֔וֹ וַהֲפַכְתֶּ֗ם אֶת־דִּבְרֵי֙ אֱלֹהִ֣ים חַיִּ֔ים יְהוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃
37
כֹּ֥ה תֹאמַ֖ר אֶל־הַנָּבִ֑יא מֶה־עָנָ֣ךְ יְהוָ֔ה וּמַה־דִּבֶּ֖ר יְהוָֽה׃
38
וְאִם־מַשָּׂ֣א יְהוָה֮ תֹּאמֵרוּ֒ לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֚ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה יַ֧עַן אֲמָרְכֶ֛ם אֶת־הַדָּבָ֥ר הַזֶּ֖ה מַשָּׂ֣א יְהוָ֑ה וָאֶשְׁלַ֤ח אֲלֵיכֶם֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר לֹ֥א תֹאמְר֖וּ מַשָּׂ֥א יְהוָֽה׃
39
לָכֵ֣ן הִנְנִ֔י וְנָשִׁ֥יתִי אֶתְכֶ֖ם נָשֹׁ֑א וְנָטַשְׁתִּ֣י אֶתְכֶ֗ם וְאֶת־הָעִיר֙ אֲשֶׁ֨ר נָתַ֧תִּי לָכֶ֛ם וְלַאֲבוֹתֵיכֶ֖ם מֵעַ֥ל פָּנָֽי׃
40
וְנָתַתִּ֥י עֲלֵיכֶ֖ם חֶרְפַּ֣ת עוֹלָ֑ם וּכְלִמּ֣וּת עוֹלָ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֖ר לֹ֥א תִשָּׁכֵֽחַ׃
Qui dérobent mes paroles les uns aux autres. En se payant les uns les autres d'assurances imaginaires, ils se frustrent mutuellement des avertissements que Dieu leur donnait à tous pour leur salut par la bouche des vrais prophètes.
