Comme une rosée... La rosée : image fréquente de ce qui rafraîchit et vivifie (Osée 14.5 ; Psaumes 72.6 ; 133.3).

L'herbe, laquelle... Nous rapportons le pronom, non à la rosée, mais à l'herbe qui la reçoit. Le gazon flétri, avide d'humidité, (image de ce qu'est l'humanité privée de la grâce divine), n'a rien à attendre de l'homme : c'est directement d'en-haut, de Jéhova, que lui vient la rosée vivifante.
