Ne me rejette pas loin de toi, ne me retire pas ton Esprit saint !
Then I will teach transgressors your ways. Sinners shall be converted to you.

Ne me rejette pas... Il n y a pas d'autre alternative que celle d'un renouvellement complet ou d'un rejet définitif.

Ton esprit saint. David pense sans doute ici à l'esprit qui lui a été communiqué par suite de l'onction en vue de la royauté (1Samuel 16.1). Il s'était habitué à vivre sous la direction de cet esprit, et il sent qu'il ne peut désormais se passer de lui.
