10 à 19 Demande d'une destruction complète de la puissance ennemie. Une première strophe (versets 10 à 13) rappelle les victoires remportées jadis. La strophe finale (versets 14 à 19), plus longue que les autres, représente sous des images grandioses le jugement de Dieu, qui doit avoir pour résultat de faire connaître au monde entier que l'Eternel est le Très-Haut.

Comme Madian, dont la défaite est pour tous les temps le type d'un désastre complet (Juges chapitres 7 et 8). Comparez Esaïe 9.3.

Sisera. Ce nom, ainsi que celui de Jabin, rappelle la victoire remportée sur les Cananéens par Débora et Barak, victoire dans laquelle le Kison, subitement débordé, consomma la ruine des ennemis (Juges 4.1).
