Esaïe 57.1-21

World English Bible I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts to him and to his mourners.

Sens : Il était coupable ; je l'ai frappé et abandonné à son sort. Mais il ne s'est pas converti. Je ne le laisserai pas aller plus longtemps sur ce mauvais chemin ; j'ai vu (en opposition à : je me suis caché) ses voies, c'est-à-dire : je me suis de nouveau occupé de lui pour le guérir.
Passés prophétiques, le châtiment comme la guérison étant encore futurs au moment où parle le prophète.

Ses affligés : le peuple ne périra pas ; il sera sauvé dans la personne de ses affligés, c'est-à-dire de ceux qui, humiliés, pleurent leur péché.

      36 Then the nations that are left around you shall know that I, Yahweh, have built the ruined places, and planted that which was desolate: I, Yahweh, have spoken it, and I will do it.
      37 Thus says the Lord Yahweh: For this, moreover, will I be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them: I will increase them with men like a flock.
