La parole elle-même lui sera ôtée, de sorte que pour un temps il ne pourra plus réprimander le peuple, parce que celui-ci ne profite pas de ses paroles (comparez Actes 16.6-7). Le peuple ne comprendra le langage de l'Eternel qu'en visitant le prophète dans sa demeure et en observant ses actes.
