Vos tombeaux. Ce mot désigne la Babylonie où les Juifs sont captifs. L'image ne cadre plus complètement avec la précédente, celle des os secs jonchant la plaine ; elle ajoute à l'idée de dispersion celle d'esclavage. Si même Israël se reconstituait en Babylonie, il ne pourrait pourtant pas sortir de cet empire qui le retient captif comme dans une prison.
