La vengeance que tu tireras d'eux. Dieu se venge lui-même en vengeant son prophète, parce que c'est Dieu qu'on offense dans la personne de son serviteur.

Jérémie peut sans crainte en appeler à la toute-science de Dieu, parce qu'il a été un serviteur fidèle.

C'est à toi que j'ai remis ma cause. Comparez Lévitique 19.18 et 1Pierre 2.23.
