Si pendant tout leur périple sous des tentes, dans la traversée du désert, les Israélites devaient offrir des sacrifices, combien plus, en ce qui nous concerne, alors que nous avons maintenant l'église, devons-nous y accomplir nos devoirs, de façon à être réellement en communion avec Dieu.Dans ce texte, les sacrifices spécifiques à chaque jour, sont Détaillés : à chaque fois, il y avait un sacrifice pour le péché, comme d'ailleurs lors des autres fêtes. Nos prières, qui sont en quelque sorte des sacrifices et des offrandes, ne sauraient être acceptées par Dieu, si nous n'avions pas le regard fixé sur Jésus, Celui qui s'est sacrifié et qui s'est fait « péché » pour nous. Si pendant tout leur périple sous des tentes, dans la traversée du désert, les Israélites devaient offrir des sacrifices, combien plus, en ce qui nous concerne, alors que nous avons maintenant l'église, devons-nous y accomplir nos devoirs, de façon à être réellement en communion avec Dieu.Dans ce texte, les sacrifices spécifiques à chaque jour, sont Détaillés : à chaque fois, il y avait un sacrifice pour le péché, comme d'ailleurs lors des autres fêtes. Nos prières, qui sont en quelque sorte des sacrifices et des offrandes, ne sauraient être acceptées par Dieu, si nous n'avions pas le regard fixé sur Jésus, Celui qui s'est sacrifié et qui s'est fait « péché » pour nous. Aucun de nos services dans l'assemblée ne devrait être accompli sans une réelle piété.Tous les détails de ce texte, nous rappellent notre culpabilité. La vie ici bas, dans la chair, doit être animée par la foi envers le Fils de Dieu, et ce, tant que nous ne pourrons directement Le contempler et Le louer pour Sa miséricorde : c'est en effet Jésus qui a lavé nos péchés dans Son propre sang.
