6 à 8 Les Philistins.

Gaza, la plus importante des villes philistines, représentant la nation entière. Cette ville a toujours joué un rôle capital dans les guerres entre les puissances asiatiques et l'empire égyptien, comme forteresse de premier ordre.

Ils ont déporté. Les Philistins faisaient des incursions sur le sol de Juda et d'Israël et en ramenaient des Juifs captifs qu'ils vendaient, paraît-il, aux Edomites et aux Arabes.
