6 à 12 Enumération des péchés particuliers les plus grossiers. Les mots : répandre le sang, sont comme le refrain qui relie les trois courts paragraphes de ce tableau : versets 6 à 8, versets 9 à 11 et verset 12. Les versets 6 à 8 se rapportent plutôt aux péchés qui ont le caractère de la violence. Ce crime de l'effusion du sang est reproché, avant tout, aux princes d'Israël, aux chefs de la nation qui abusaient de leur pouvoir (verset 6) ; puis sont signalés le manque de respect pour les parents, l'oppression des faibles (étrangers, veuves, orphelins), les profanations du sanctuaire et les violations du sabbat (versets 7 et 8). Les versets 9 à 11 présentent un second groupe qui a pour trait saillant les péchés d'impureté.
