Mon fils. La vue d'Acan, atterré par ce qui vient de se passer, remplit le cœur de Josué de commisération.

Donne gloire, je te prie, à l'Eternel (Jean 9.24). Donner gloire à Dieu, c'est dans ce cas reconnaître par la confession de sa faute que Dieu a dit vrai par le moyen du sort.
