Le peuple qui respecte le sabbat et fréquente le sanctuaire du Dieu vivant, ne recourra pas à l'évocation des morts et à la consultation des devins pour diriger sa conduite. Comparez 1Samuel 28.7.

Sur les deux termes évocateurs et devins, comparez Esaïe 8.19, note. Dans ce passage, Esaïe adresse les Israélites à la loi et au témoignage, comme le législateur les renvoie ici au sabbat et au sanctuaire.
