13 à 16 Troisième péché : l'abandon de Dieu.

Voici l'explication des malheurs du peuple et de la colère de Dieu : Israël, en se livrant aux alliances païennes, est, par rapport à son Dieu, à la fois déserteur (fui loin de moi) et transfuge (infidèles).

Je les délivrerais (comparez verset 1et 6.1). Je pourrais et voudrais les délivrer, mais ils m'en empêchent par leur conduite.

Des mensonges. Au lieu de se juger eux-mêmes, ils m'accusent faussement et s'enfoncent toujours plus dans le blasphème et l'impiété.
