World English Bible "Assemble yourselves, all you, and hear; who among them has declared these things? He whom Yahweh loves shall perform his pleasure on Babylon, and his arm shall be on the Chaldeans.

Israël est invité à confesser que nul parmi les païens n'a annoncé les événements qui vont arriver, comme l'Eternel le fait lui-même en ce moment même. Ce passage résume tous ceux où cette pensée à été exprimée. Voir, entre autres 43.9 et 45.20.

      Esaïe 13

      4 The noise of a multitude is in the mountains, as of a great people; the noise of an uproar of the kingdoms of the nations gathered together! Yahweh of Armies is mustering the army for the battle.
