Lot est enveloppé dans la ruine de ce beau et riche pays, dans lequel il s'était établi. Les explications données ici sur lui feraient supposer qu'il n'avait, pas encore été parlé de lui et de son établissement dans cette contrée, ce qui confirme l'hypothèse émise en commençant sur l'origine de ce récit.
