Jean 5.44

Seconde raison d'incrédulité, que Jésus exprime vivement par une question directe et qui signifie : Il vous est impossible de croire, parce que, idolâtres de la gloire qui vous vient des hommes, vous n'avez aucun égard à la gloire qui vient de Dieu seul et qui devrait dominer toutes vos pensées. (verset 41)
