C'est Dieu lui-même qui tendra des piéges aux Israélites, c'est-à-dire qui créera des situations où leur méchanceté, cachée encore sous ce vernis de formalisme, apparaîtra à découvert et dans toute sa laideur, pour être jugée et punie.

Les pères et les fils, etc. : les plus proches, au lieu de s'en tr'aider, se perdront mutuellement.
