En ce temps-là Israël accomplira la mission que lui assignaient les promesses divines : il sera une bénédiction pour toute la terre (Genèse 12.1-3). Car, placé entre ces deux grands peuples, c'est lui qui leur communiquera la connaissance de Jéhova. Alors l'alliance de Dieu s'ouvrira pour les recevoir ; ils jouiront des mêmes faveurs que lui et seront ses égaux. La promesse Osée 2.21-23 s'accomplira pour eux aussi.
