Le sixiĂšme commandement
Le bien le plus prĂ©cieux pour l'homme, celui de la possession duquel dĂ©pend la jouissance de tous les autres, c'est la vie. Les psalmistes l'appellent quelquefois : mon unique. Le meurtre Ă©tait dĂ©jĂ  condamnĂ© dans le rĂ©cit d'Abel et de CaĂŻn, et dans la rĂ©vĂ©lation de Dieu Ă  NoĂ© GenĂšse 9.6. Eteindre une lumiĂšre que Dieu a allumĂ©e, c'est un crime contre Dieu lui-mĂȘme. Il n'est parlĂ© ici que du meurtre accompli avec intention. Voir ce qui concerne le meurtre par accident Nombres 35.22 et suivants.
