Le lĂ©gislateur introduit seulement cette prescription nouvelle : On ne paraĂźtra pas devant moi les mains vides. C'est un usage universel de ne pas se prĂ©senter devant un prince sans lui offrir de prĂ©sents. Cet usage est spĂ©cialement rappelĂ© ici quant Ă  la fĂȘte des pains sans levain, oĂč les autres cĂ©rĂ©monies auraient pu le faire oublier.

Au temps fixé du mois d'Abib : sans doute à la pleine lune, au milieu du mois.

      12 They shall leave none of it until the morning, nor break a bone of it. According to all the statute of the Passover they shall keep it.
      13 But the man who is clean, and is not on a journey, and fails to keep the Passover, that soul shall be cut off from his people. Because he didn't offer the offering of Yahweh in its appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.
      14 "'If a foreigner lives among you, and desires to keep the Passover to Yahweh; according to the statute of the Passover, and according to its ordinance, so shall he do. You shall have one statute, both for the foreigner, and for him who is born in the land.'"

      1 Observe the month of Abib, and keep the Passover to Yahweh your God; for in the month of Abib Yahweh your God brought you forth out of Egypt by night.
      2 You shall sacrifice the Passover to Yahweh your God, of the flock and the herd, in the place which Yahweh shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there.
      3 You shall eat no leavened bread with it. You shall eat unleavened bread with it seven days, even the bread of affliction; for you came forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: that you may remember the day when you came forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life.
      4 No yeast shall be seen with you in all your borders seven days; neither shall any of the flesh, which you sacrifice the first day at evening, remain all night until the morning.
