World English Bible It happened, as soon as he came near to the camp, that he saw the calf and the dancing: and Moses' anger grew hot, and he threw the tablets out of his hands, and broke them beneath the mountain.

Cette émotion subite, qui saisit le cœur de Moïse, n'a rien d'étonnant. Voir est encore autre chose que savoir.

Le brisement des tables représente la rupture de l'alliance par le peuple. Car c'était le Décalogue qui en était l'acte constitutif.
