Son cœur sera changé : ses pensées, ses goûts, ses affections prendront un caractère bestial.

Sept temps : ce terme indique sept périodes d'égale longueur, mais dont la durée n'est pas déterminée. Ce peuvent être des années, des mois ou des semaines. L'essentiel ici est le chiffre sept, qui désigne la totalité. C'est donc : jusqu'à la mesure complète du temps marqué par Dieu pour cette humiliation.
