World English Bible While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. Behold, a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to him."

La nuée, symbole de la gloire divine (Exode 40.34 ; 1Rois 8.10) couvrit Jésus, Moïse et Elie ; car c'est de cette nuée que les apôtres entendent sortir la voix. (Voir sur les paroles qu'elle prononce, Matthieu 3.17)

Ces mots ajoutés ici : écoutez-le, obéissez-lui, rappellent Deutéronome 18.15. (Comparer Marc 9.7, note.)
