Segond 21 Alors la colère de l'Eternel s'enflamma contre Moïse. Il dit : « N'y a-t-il pas ton frère Aaron, le Lévite ? Je sais qu'il parlera facilement, lui. Le voici même qui vient à ta rencontre. Quand il te verra, il se réjouira dans son cœur.

World English Bible The anger of Yahweh was kindled against Moses, and he said, "What about Aaron, your brother, the Levite? I know that he can speak well. Also, behold, he comes out to meet you. When he sees you, he will be glad in his heart.

Le Lévite. Aaron ne peut être appelé le Lévite que comme étant le chef de la tribu de Lévi. Il devait sans doute cette haute position à sa double qualité de chef, par droit de naissance, de la seconde branche des Lévites, celle de Kéhath, et de mari d'Elisabeth, la sœur de Nahason, prince de la tribu de Juda.
