Sa gloire : les grands, les princes le roi lui-même. Epuisés par les souffrances du siège, ils n'ont plus eu la force suffisante pour se sauver par la fuite. C'est ainsi, par exemple, que Sédécias a été atteint dans les campagnes de Jéricho (Jérémie 52.8).
