      Deutéronome 16

      1 Observe the month of Abib, and keep the Passover to Yahweh your God; for in the month of Abib Yahweh your God brought you forth out of Egypt by night.
      2 You shall sacrifice the Passover to Yahweh your God, of the flock and the herd, in the place which Yahweh shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there.
      3 You shall eat no leavened bread with it. You shall eat unleavened bread with it seven days, even the bread of affliction; for you came forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: that you may remember the day when you came forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life.
      4 No yeast shall be seen with you in all your borders seven days; neither shall any of the flesh, which you sacrifice the first day at evening, remain all night until the morning.
      5 You may not sacrifice the Passover within any of your gates, which Yahweh your God gives you;
      6 but at the place which Yahweh your God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell in, there you shall sacrifice the Passover at evening, at the going down of the sun, at the season that you came forth out of Egypt.
      7 You shall roast and eat it in the place which Yahweh your God shall choose: and you shall turn in the morning, and go to your tents.
      8 Six days you shall eat unleavened bread. On the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to Yahweh your God; you shall do no work.
      9 You shall count for yourselves seven weeks: from the time you begin to put the sickle to the standing grain you shall begin to number seven weeks.
      10 You shall keep the feast of weeks to Yahweh your God with a tribute of a freewill offering of your hand, which you shall give, according as Yahweh your God blesses you:
      11 and you shall rejoice before Yahweh your God, you, and your son, and your daughter, and your male servant, and your female servant, and the Levite who is within your gates, and the foreigner, and the fatherless, and the widow, who are in the midst of you, in the place which Yahweh your God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there.
      12 You shall remember that you were a bondservant in Egypt: and you shall observe and do these statutes.
      13 You shall keep the feast of tents seven days, after that you have gathered in from your threshing floor and from your winepress:
      14 and you shall rejoice in your feast, you, and your son, and your daughter, and your male servant, and your female servant, and the Levite, and the foreigner, and the fatherless, and the widow, who are within your gates.
      15 You shall keep a feast to Yahweh your God seven days in the place which Yahweh shall choose; because Yahweh your God will bless you in all your increase, and in all the work of your hands, and you shall be altogether joyful.
      16 Three times in a year shall all your males appear before Yahweh your God in the place which he shall choose: in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tents; and they shall not appear before Yahweh empty:
      17 every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of Yahweh your God which he has given you.
      18 You shall make judges and officers in all your gates, which Yahweh your God gives you, according to your tribes; and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment.
      19 You shall not wrest justice: you shall not respect persons; neither shall you take a bribe; for a bribe does blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.
      20 You shall follow that which is altogether just, that you may live, and inherit the land which Yahweh your God gives you.
      21 You shall not plant for yourselves an Asherah of any kind of tree beside the altar of Yahweh your God, which you shall make for yourselves.
      22 Neither shall you set yourself up a pillar; which Yahweh your God hates.

      Psaumes 103

      1 <> Praise Yahweh, my soul! All that is within me, praise his holy name!
      2 Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits;
      3 who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases;
      4 who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies;
      5 who satisfies your desire with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
      6 Yahweh executes righteous acts, and justice for all who are oppressed.
      7 He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the children of Israel.
      8 Yahweh is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness.
      9 He will not always accuse; neither will he stay angry forever.
      10 He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor repaid us for our iniquities.
      11 For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving kindness toward those who fear him.
      12 As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
      13 Like a father has compassion on his children, so Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him.
      14 For he knows how we are made. He remembers that we are dust.
      15 As for man, his days are like grass. As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.
      16 For the wind passes over it, and it is gone. Its place remembers it no more.
      17 But Yahweh's loving kindness is from everlasting to everlasting with those who fear him, his righteousness to children's children;
      18 to those who keep his covenant, to those who remember to obey his precepts.
      19 Yahweh has established his throne in the heavens. His kingdom rules over all.
      20 Praise Yahweh, you angels of his, who are mighty in strength, who fulfill his word, obeying the voice of his word.
      21 Praise Yahweh, all you armies of his, you servants of his, who do his pleasure.
      22 Praise Yahweh, all you works of his, in all places of his dominion. Praise Yahweh, my soul!

      Esaïe 43

      1 But now thus says Yahweh who created you, Jacob, and he who formed you, Israel: "Don't be afraid, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name. You are mine.
      2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you.
      3 For I am Yahweh your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I have given Egypt as your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place.
      4 Since you have been precious and honored in my sight, and I have loved you; therefore I will give people in your place, and nations instead of your life.
      5 Don't be afraid; for I am with you. I will bring your seed from the east, and gather you from the west.
      6 I will tell the north, 'Give them up!' and tell the south, 'Don't hold them back! Bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth--
      7 everyone who is called by my name, and whom I have created for my glory, whom I have formed, yes, whom I have made.'"
      8 Bring out the blind people who have eyes, and the deaf who have ears.
      9 Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the peoples be assembled. Who among them can declare this, and show us former things? Let them bring their witnesses, that they may be justified; or let them hear, and say, "That is true."
      10 "You are my witnesses," says Yahweh, "With my servant whom I have chosen; that you may know and believe me, and understand that I am he. Before me there was no God formed, neither will there be after me.
      11 I myself am Yahweh; and besides me there is no savior.
      12 I have declared, I have saved, and I have shown; and there was no strange god among you. Therefore you are my witnesses," says Yahweh, "and I am God.
      13 Yes, since the day was I am he; and there is no one who can deliver out of my hand. I will work, and who can hinder it?"
      14 Thus says Yahweh, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: "For your sake, I have sent to Babylon, and I will bring all of them down as fugitives, even the Chaldeans, in the ships of their rejoicing.
      15 I am Yahweh, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King."
      16 Thus says Yahweh, who makes a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;
      17 who brings forth the chariot and horse, the army and the mighty man (they lie down together, they shall not rise; they are extinct, they are quenched like a wick):
      18 "Don't remember the former things, and don't consider the things of old.
      19 Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs forth now. Don't you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
      20 The animals of the field shall honor me, the jackals and the ostriches; because I give water in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen,
      21 the people which I formed for myself, that they might set forth my praise.
      22 Yet you have not called on me, Jacob; but you have been weary of me, Israel.
      23 You have not brought me of your sheep for burnt offerings; neither have you honored me with your sacrifices. I have not burdened you with offerings, nor wearied you with frankincense.
      24 You have bought me no sweet cane with money, nor have you filled me with the fat of your sacrifices; but you have burdened me with your sins. You have wearied me with your iniquities.
      25 I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake; and I will not remember your sins.
      26 Put me in remembrance. Let us plead together. Set forth your case, that you may be justified.
      27 Your first father sinned, and your teachers have transgressed against me.
      28 Therefore I will profane the princes of the sanctuary; and I will make Jacob a curse, and Israel an insult."
