- 2 Samuel 21
  
  1 Et il y eut, du temps de David, une famine de trois ans, année après année. Et David rechercha la face de l'Éternel, et l'Éternel dit : C'est à cause de Saül et de sa maison de sang, parce qu'il a fait mourir les Gabaonites.
  
  2 Et le roi les appela les Gabaonites et leur parla. (Or les Gabaonites n'étaient pas des fils d'Israël, mais du reste des Amoréens, et les fils d'Israël s'étaient obligés envers eux par serment ; et Saül, dans son zèle pour les fils d'Israël et de Juda, avait cherché à les frapper.)
  
  3 Et David dit aux Gabaonites : Que ferai-je pour vous, et avec quoi ferai-je expiation, de sorte que vous bénissiez l'héritage de l'Éternel ?
  
  4 Et les Gabaonites lui dirent : Il ne s'agit pas pour nous d'argent ou d'or à l'égard de Saül et de sa maison, ni qu'on fasse mourir personne en Israël. Et il dit : Ce que vous direz, je le ferai pour vous.
  
  5 Et ils dirent au roi : L'homme qui nous a consumés et qui a formé un plan contre nous afin de nous détruire, pour que nous ne puissions subsister dans tous les confins d'Israël... :
  
  6 qu'on nous livre sept hommes, de ses fils, et nous les pendrons devant l'Éternel à Guibha de Saül, l'élu de l'Éternel. Et le roi dit : Je les livrerai.
  
  7 Et le roi épargna Mephibosheth, fils de Jonathan, fils de Saül, à cause du serment de l'Éternel, qui était entre eux, entre David et Jonathan, fils de Saül.
  
  8 Et le roi prit les deux fils de Ritspa, fille d'Aïa, qu'elle avait enfantés à Saül, Armoni et Mephibosheth, et les cinq fils de Mical, fille de Saül, qu'elle avait enfantés à Adriel, fils de Barzillaï, le Meholathite,
  
  9 et il les livra aux mains des Gabaonites, qui les pendirent sur la montagne, devant l'Éternel ; et les sept tombèrent ensemble, et on les fit mourir aux premiers jours de la moisson, au commencement de la moisson des orges.
  
  10 Et Ritspa, fille d'Aïa, prit un sac et l'étendit sur le rocher, depuis le commencement de la moisson jusqu'à ce qu'il tombât de l'eau des cieux sur eux ; et elle ne permit pas aux oiseaux des cieux de se poser sur eux le jour, ni aux bêtes des champs la nuit.
  
  11 Et ce que Ritspa, fille d'Aïa, concubine de Saül, avait fait fut rapporté à David.
  
  12 Et David alla et prit les os de Saül et les os de Jonathan, son fils, de chez les habitants de Jabès de Galaad, qui les avaient dérobés de la place de Beth-Shan, où les Philistins les avaient suspendus le jour où les Philistins avaient frappé Saül à Guilboa.
  
  13 Et il emporta de là les os de Saül et les os de Jonathan, son fils ; et on recueillit les os de ceux qui avaient été pendus,
  
  14 et on les enterra avec les os de Saül et de Jonathan, son fils, dans le pays de Benjamin, à Tséla, dans le sépulcre de Kis, son père. Et on fit tout ce que le roi avait commandé : et après cela, Dieu fut propice au pays.
  
  15 Et il y eut encore une guerre des Philistins contre Israël ; et David descendit, et ses serviteurs avec lui, et ils se battirent avec les Philistins ; et David était fatigué.
  
  16 Et Jishbi-Benob, qui était des enfants du géant (le poids de sa lance était de trois cents sicles d'airain, et il était ceint d'une armure neuve), pensa frapper David.
  
  17 Et Abishaï, fils de Tseruïa, le secourut, et frappa le Philistin et le tua. Alors les hommes de David lui jurèrent, disant : Tu ne sortiras plus avec nous pour la guerre, et tu n'éteindras pas la lampe d'Israël.
  
  18 Et il arriva, après cela, qu'il y eut encore un combat, à Gob, avec les Philistins. Alors Sibbecaï, le Hushathite, frappa Saph, qui était un des enfants du géant.
  
  19 Et il y eut encore un combat à Gob, avec les Philistins : et Elkanan, fils de Jaaré-Oreguim, le Bethléhémite, frappa Goliath, le Guitthien ; et le bois de sa lance était comme l'ensouple des tisserands.
  
  20 Et il y eut encore un combat, à Gath : et il y avait là un homme de haute stature qui avait six doigts aux mains et six orteils aux pieds, en tout vingt-quatre ;
  
  21 et lui aussi était né au géant. Et il outragea Israël ; mais Jonathan, fils de Shimha, frère de David, le frappa.
  
  22 Ces quatre étaient nés au géant, à Gath, et tombèrent par la main de David et par la main de ses serviteurs.
  
  Ezéchiel 28
  
  1 Et la parole de l'Éternel vint à moi, disant : Fils d'homme, dis au prince de Tyr :
  
  2 Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Parce que ton coeur s'est élevé et que tu as dit : Je suis Dieu, je suis assis sur le siège d'un dieu, au coeur des mers (et tu es un homme, et non pas Dieu), et que tu élèves ton coeur comme un coeur de dieu
  
  3 (voici, tu es plus sage que Daniel ! rien de caché n'est obscur pour toi ;
  
  4 par ta sagesse et par ton intelligence tu t'es acquis de la puissance et tu as amassé de l'or et de l'argent dans tes trésors ;
  
  5 par la grandeur de ta sagesse, tu as, par ton négoce, multiplié ta richesse ; et ton coeur s'est élevé à cause de ta richesse)
  
  6 -à cause de cela, ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Parce que tu as élevé ton coeur comme un coeur de dieu, à cause de cela,
  
  7 voici, je fais venir contre toi des étrangers, les terribles d'entre les nations ; et ils tireront leurs épées contre la beauté de ta sagesse, et ils profaneront ta splendeur ;
  
  8 ils te feront descendre dans la fosse, et tu mourras de la mort de ceux qui sont tués au coeur des mers.
  
  9 Diras-tu peut-être devant celui qui te tue : Je suis Dieu ? Mais tu seras un homme, et non pas Dieu, dans la main de celui qui te transperce.
  
  10 Tu mourras de la mort des incirconcis, par la main des étrangers ; car j'ai parlé, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel.
  
  11 Et la parole de l'Éternel vint à moi, disant :
  
  12 Fils d'homme, élève une complainte sur le roi de Tyr, et dis-lui : Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Toi, tu étais la forme accomplie de la perfection, plein de sagesse, et parfait en beauté ;
  
  13 tu as été en Éden, le jardin de Dieu ; toutes les pierres précieuses te couvraient, le sardius, la topaze et le diamant, le chrysolithe, l'onyx et le jaspe, le saphir, l'escarboucle et l'émeraude, et l'or ; le riche travail de tes tambourins et de tes flûtes était en toi ; au jour où tu fus créé ils étaient préparés.
  
  14 Tu étais un chérubin oint, qui couvrait, et je t'avais établi tel ; tu étais dans la sainte montagne de Dieu, tu marchais parmi les pierres de feu.
  
  15 Tu fus parfait dans tes voies depuis le jour où tu fus créé, jusqu'à ce que l'iniquité s'est trouvée en toi.
  
  16 Par l'abondance de ton trafic, ton intérieur a été rempli de violence, et tu as péché ; et je t'ai précipité de la montagne de Dieu comme une chose profane, et je t'ai détruit du milieu des pierres de feu, ô chérubin qui couvrait !
  
  17 Ton coeur s'est élevé pour ta beauté, tu as corrompu ta sagesse à cause de ta splendeur ; je t'ai jeté à terre, je t'ai mis devant les rois, afin qu'ils te voient.
  
  18 Par la multitude de tes iniquités, par l'injustice de ton trafic, tu as profané tes sanctuaires ; et j'ai fait sortir un feu du milieu de toi : il t'a dévoré, et je t'ai réduit en cendre sur la terre, aux yeux de tous ceux qui te voient.
  
  19 Tous ceux qui te connaissent parmi les peuples sont dans la stupeur à cause de toi ; tu es devenu une terreur, et tu ne seras plus, à jamais.
  
  20 Et la parole de l'Éternel vint à moi, disant :
  
  21 Fils d'homme, tourne ta face vers Sidon, et prophétise contre elle, et dis :
  
  22 Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Voici, j'en veux à toi, Sidon, et je serai glorifié au milieu de toi ; et on saura que je suis l'Éternel, quand j'exécuterai des jugements au milieu d'elle et que j'aurai été sanctifié en elle.
  
  23 Et j'enverrai chez elle la peste, et le sang dans ses rues ; et les blessés à mort tomberont au milieu d'elle par l'épée qui sera tout autour contre elle ; et ils sauront que je suis l'Éternel.
  
  24 Et il n'y aura plus pour la maison d'Israël d'aiguillon qui blesse, ni d'épine qui cause de la douleur, d'entre tous ceux qui étaient autour d'eux et qui les méprisaient ; et ils sauront que je suis le Seigneur, l'Éternel.
  
  25 Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Quand je rassemblerai la maison d'Israël d'entre les peuples parmi lesquels ils seront dispersés, et que je serai sanctifié en eux aux yeux des nations, alors ils habiteront sur leur terre que j'ai donnée à mon serviteur Jacob :
  
  26 ils y habiteront en sécurité ; ils bâtiront des maisons, et ils planteront des vignes, et ils habiteront en sécurité, quand j'aurai exécuté des jugements sur tous ceux qui les méprisaient, tout autour d'eux ; et ils sauront que je suis l'Éternel, leur Dieu.
  
  Galates 1
  
  1 Paul, apôtre, non de la part des hommes, ni par l'homme, mais par Jésus Christ, et Dieu le Père qui l'a ressuscité d'entre les morts,
  
  2 et tous les frères qui sont avec moi, aux assemblées de la Galatie :
  
  3 Grâce et paix à vous, de la part de Dieu le Père et de notre Seigneur Jésus Christ,
  
  4 s'est donné lui-même pour nos péchés, en sorte qu'il nous retirât du présent siècle mauvais, selon la volonté de notre Dieu et Père,
  
  5 auquel soit la gloire aux siècles des siècles ! Amen.
  
  6 Je m'étonne de ce que vous passez si promptement de celui qui vous a appelés par la grâce de Christ, à un évangile différent, qui n'en est pas un autre ;
  
  7 mais il y a des gens qui vous troublent, et qui veulent pervertir l'évangile du Christ.
  
  8 Mais quand nous-mêmes, ou quand un ange venu du ciel vous évangéliserait outre ce que nous vous avons évangélisé, qu'il soit anathème.
  
  9 Comme nous l'avons déjà dit, maintenant aussi je le dis encore : si quelqu'un vous évangélise outre ce que vous avez reçu, qu'il soit anathème.
  
  10 Car maintenant, est ce que je m'applique à satisfaire des hommes, ou Dieu ? Ou est-ce que je cherche à complaire à des hommes ? Si je complaisais encore à des hommes, je ne serais pas esclave de Christ.
  
  11 Or je vous fais savoir, frères, que l'évangile qui a été annoncé par moi n'est pas selon l'homme.
  
  12 Car moi, je ne l'ai pas reçu de l'homme non plus, ni appris, mais par la révélation de Jésus Christ.
  
  13 Car vous avez ouï dire quelle a été autrefois ma conduite dans le judaïsme, comment je persécutais outre mesure l'assemblée de Dieu et la dévastais,
  
  14 comment j'avançais dans le judaïsme plus que plusieurs de ceux de mon âge dans ma nation, étant le plus ardent zélateur des traditions de mes pères.
  
  15 Mais quand il plut à Dieu, qui m'a mis à part dès le ventre de ma mère et qui m'a appelé par sa grâce,
  
  16 de révéler son Fils en moi, afin que je l'annonçasse parmi les nations, aussitôt, je ne pris pas conseil de la chair ni du sang,
  
  17 ni ne montai à Jérusalem vers ceux qui étaient apôtres avant moi, mais je m'en allai en Arabie, et je retournai de nouveau à Damas.
  
  18 Puis, trois ans après, je montai à Jérusalem pour faire la connaissance de Céphas, et je demeurai chez lui quinze jours ;
  
  19 et je ne vis aucun autre des apôtres, sinon Jacques le frère du Seigneur.
  
  20 Or dans les choses que je vous écris, voici, devant Dieu, je ne mens point.
  
  21 Ensuite j'allai dans les pays de Syrie et de Cilicie.
  
  22 Or j'étais inconnu de visage aux assemblées de la Judée qui sont en Christ,
  
  23 seulement elles entendaient dire : Celui qui nous persécutait autrefois, annonce maintenant la foi qu'il détruisait jadis ;
  
  24 et elles glorifiaient Dieu à cause de moi.
- 2 Samuel 21
  
  1 There was a famine in the days of David three years, year after year; and David sought the face of Yahweh. Yahweh said, "It is for Saul, and for his bloody house, because he put to death the Gibeonites."
  
  2 The king called the Gibeonites, and said to them (now the Gibeonites were not of the children of Israel, but of the remnant of the Amorites; and the children of Israel had sworn to them: and Saul sought to kill them in his zeal for the children of Israel and Judah);
  
  3 and David said to the Gibeonites, "What shall I do for you? And with what shall I make atonement, that you may bless the inheritance of Yahweh?"
  
  4 The Gibeonites said to him, "It is no matter of silver or gold between us and Saul, or his house; neither is it for us to put any man to death in Israel." He said, "Whatever you say, that will I do for you."
  
  5 They said to the king, "The man who consumed us, and who devised against us, that we should be destroyed from remaining in any of the borders of Israel,
  
  6 let seven men of his sons be delivered to us, and we will hang them up to Yahweh in Gibeah of Saul, the chosen of Yahweh." The king said, "I will give them."
  
  7 But the king spared Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan the son of Saul, because of Yahweh's oath that was between them, between David and Jonathan the son of Saul.
  
  8 But the king took the two sons of Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, whom she bore to Saul, Armoni and Mephibosheth; and the five sons of Michal the daughter of Saul, whom she bore to Adriel the son of Barzillai the Meholathite.
  
  9 He delivered them into the hands of the Gibeonites, and they hanged them in the mountain before Yahweh, and all seven of them fell together. They were put to death in the days of harvest, in the first days, at the beginning of barley harvest.
  
  10 Rizpah the daughter of Aiah took sackcloth, and spread it for her on the rock, from the beginning of harvest until water was poured on them from the sky. She allowed neither the birds of the sky to rest on them by day, nor the animals of the field by night.
  
  11 It was told David what Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, the concubine of Saul, had done.
  
  12 David went and took the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son from the men of Jabesh Gilead, who had stolen them from the street of Beth Shan, where the Philistines had hanged them, in the day that the Philistines killed Saul in Gilboa;
  
  13 and he brought up from there the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son: and they gathered the bones of those who were hanged.
  
  14 They buried the bones of Saul and Jonathan his son in the country of Benjamin in Zela, in the tomb of Kish his father: and they performed all that the king commanded. After that God was entreated for the land.
  
  15 The Philistines had war again with Israel; and David went down, and his servants with him, and fought against the Philistines. David grew faint;
  
  16 and Ishbibenob, who was of the sons of the giant, the weight of whose spear was three hundred shekels of brass in weight, he being armed with a new sword, thought to have slain David.
  
  17 But Abishai the son of Zeruiah helped him, and struck the Philistine, and killed him. Then the men of David swore to him, saying, "You shall go no more out with us to battle, that you don't quench the lamp of Israel."
  
  18 It came to pass after this, that there was again war with the Philistines at Gob: then Sibbecai the Hushathite killed Saph, who was of the sons of the giant.
  
  19 There was again war with the Philistines at Gob; and Elhanan the son of Jaareoregim the Bethlehemite killed Goliath the Gittite's brother, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver's beam.
  
  20 There was again war at Gath, where there was a man of great stature, who had on every hand six fingers, and on every foot six toes, four and twenty in number; and he also was born to the giant.
  
  21 When he defied Israel, Jonathan the son of Shimei, David's brother, killed him.
  
  22 These four were born to the giant in Gath; and they fell by the hand of David, and by the hand of his servants.
  
  Ezéchiel 28
  
  1 The word of Yahweh came again to me, saying,
  
  2 Son of man, tell the prince of Tyre, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because your heart is lifted up, and you have said, I am a god, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet you are man, and not God, though you set your heart as the heart of God--
  
  3 behold, you are wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that is hidden from you;
  
  4 by your wisdom and by your understanding you have gotten yourself riches, and have gotten gold and silver into your treasures;
  
  5 by your great wisdom [and] by your traffic you have increased your riches, and your heart is lifted up because of your riches--
  
  6 therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because you have set your heart as the heart of God,
  
  7 therefore, behold, I will bring strangers on you, the terrible of the nations; and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom, and they shall defile your brightness.
  
  8 They shall bring you down to the pit; and you shall die the death of those who are slain, in the heart of the seas.
  
  9 Will you yet say before him who kills you, I am God? but you are man, and not God, in the hand of him who wounds you.
  
  10 You shall die the death of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, says the Lord Yahweh.
  
  11 Moreover the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
  
  12 Son of man, take up a lamentation over the king of Tyre, and tell him, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: You seal up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
  
  13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you: ruby, topaz, emerald, chrysolite, onyx, jasper, sapphire , turquoise, and beryl. Gold work of tambourines and of pipes was in you. In the day that you were created they were prepared.
  
  14 You were the anointed cherub who covers: and I set you, [so that] you were on the holy mountain of God; you have walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
  
  15 You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, until unrighteousness was found in you.
  
  16 By the abundance of your traffic they filled the midst of you with violence, and you have sinned: therefore I have cast you as profane out of the mountain of God; and I have destroyed you, covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
  
  17 Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; you have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your brightness: I have cast you to the ground; I have laid you before kings, that they may see you.
  
  18 By the multitude of your iniquities, in the unrighteousness of your traffic, you have profaned your sanctuaries; therefore have I brought forth a fire from the midst of you; it has devoured you, and I have turned you to ashes on the earth in the sight of all those who see you.
  
  19 All those who know you among the peoples shall be astonished at you: you have become a terror, and you shall nevermore have any being.
  
  20 The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
  
  21 Son of man, set your face toward Sidon, and prophesy against it,
  
  22 and say, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I am against you, Sidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of you; and they shall know that I am Yahweh, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.
  
  23 For I will send pestilence into her, and blood into her streets; and the wounded shall fall in the midst of her, with the sword on her on every side; and they shall know that I am Yahweh.
  
  24 There shall be no more a pricking brier to the house of Israel, nor a hurting thorn of any that are around them, that scorned them; and they shall know that I am the Lord Yahweh.
  
  25 Thus says the Lord Yahweh: When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the nations, then shall they dwell in their own land which I gave to my servant Jacob.
  
  26 They shall dwell securely therein; yes, they shall build houses, and plant vineyards, and shall dwell securely, when I have executed judgments on all those who do them despite all around them; and they shall know that I am Yahweh their God.
  
  Galates 1
  
  1 Paul, an apostle (not from men, neither through man, but through Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead),
  
  2 and all the brothers who are with me, to the assemblies of Galatia:
  
  3 Grace to you and peace from God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ,
  
  4 who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father--
  
  5 to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
  
  6 I marvel that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ to a different "good news";
  
  7 and there isn't another "good news." Only there are some who trouble you, and want to pervert the Good News of Christ.
  
  8 But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you any "good news" other than that which we preached to you, let him be cursed.
  
  9 As we have said before, so I now say again: if any man preaches to you any "good news" other than that which you received, let him be cursed.
  
  10 For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I wouldn't be a servant of Christ.
  
  11 But I make known to you, brothers, concerning the Good News which was preached by me, that it is not according to man.
  
  12 For neither did I receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came to me through revelation of Jesus Christ.
  
  13 For you have heard of my way of living in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the assembly of God, and ravaged it.
  
  14 I advanced in the Jews' religion beyond many of my own age among my countrymen, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers.
  
  15 But when it was the good pleasure of God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me through his grace,
  
  16 to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I didn't immediately confer with flesh and blood,
  
  17 nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me, but I went away into Arabia. Then I returned to Damascus.
  
  18 Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Peter, and stayed with him fifteen days.
  
  19 But of the other apostles I saw no one, except James, the Lord's brother.
  
  20 Now about the things which I write to you, behold, before God, I'm not lying.
  
  21 Then I came to the regions of Syria and Cilicia.
  
  22 I was still unknown by face to the assemblies of Judea which were in Christ,
  
  23 but they only heard: "He who once persecuted us now preaches the faith that he once tried to destroy."
  
  24 And they glorified God in me.

  1 וַיְהִ֣י רָעָב֩ בִּימֵ֨י דָוִ֜ד שָׁלֹ֣שׁ שָׁנִ֗ים שָׁנָה֙ אַחֲרֵ֣י שָׁנָ֔ה וַיְבַקֵּ֥שׁ דָּוִ֖ד אֶת־פְּנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה סוַיֹּ֣אמֶר יְהוָ֗ה אֶל־שָׁאוּל֙ וְאֶל־בֵּ֣ית הַדָּמִ֔ים עַל־אֲשֶׁר־הֵמִ֖ית אֶת־הַגִּבְעֹנִֽים׃
  
  2 וַיִּקְרָ֥א הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ לַגִּבְעֹנִ֖ים וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲלֵיהֶ֑ם וְהַגִּבְעֹנִ֞ים לֹ֣א מִבְּנֵ֧י יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל הֵ֗מָּה כִּ֚י אִם־מִיֶּ֣תֶר הָאֱמֹרִ֔י וּבְנֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ נִשְׁבְּע֣וּ לָהֶ֔ם וַיְבַקֵּ֤שׁ שָׁאוּל֙ לְהַכֹּתָ֔ם בְּקַנֹּאת֥וֹ לִבְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל וִיהוּדָֽה׃
  
  3 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר דָּוִד֙ אֶל־הַגִּבְעֹנִ֔ים מָ֥ה אֶעֱשֶׂ֖ה לָכֶ֑ם וּבַמָּ֣ה אֲכַפֵּ֔ר וּבָרְכ֖וּ אֶת־נַחֲלַ֥ת יְהוָֽה׃
  
  4 וַיֹּ֧אמְרוּ ל֣וֹ הַגִּבְעֹנִ֗ים אֵֽין־*לי **לָ֜נוּ כֶּ֤סֶף וְזָהָב֙ עִם־שָׁא֣וּל וְעִם־בֵּית֔וֹ וְאֵֽין־לָ֥נוּ אִ֖ישׁ לְהָמִ֣ית בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַיֹּ֛אמֶר מָֽה־אַתֶּ֥ם אֹמְרִ֖ים אֶעֱשֶׂ֥ה לָכֶֽם׃
  
  5 וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙ אֶל־הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ הָאִישׁ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר כִּלָּ֔נוּ וַאֲשֶׁ֖ר דִּמָּה־לָ֑נוּ נִשְׁמַ֕דְנוּ מֵֽהִתְיַצֵּ֖ב בְּכָל־גְּבֻ֥ל יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
  
  6 *ינתן־**יֻתַּן־לָ֜נוּ שִׁבְעָ֤ה אֲנָשִׁים֙ מִבָּנָ֔יו וְהוֹקַֽעֲנוּם֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה בְּגִבְעַ֥ת שָׁא֖וּל בְּחִ֣יר יְהוָ֑ה סוַיֹּ֥אמֶר הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ אֲנִ֥י אֶתֵּֽן׃
  
  7 וַיַּחְמֹ֣ל הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ עַל־מְפִי־בֹ֖שֶׁת בֶּן־יְהוֹנָתָ֣ן בֶּן־שָׁא֑וּל עַל־שְׁבֻעַ֤ת יְהוָה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בֵּֽינֹתָ֔ם בֵּ֣ין דָּוִ֔ד וּבֵ֖ין יְהוֹנָתָ֥ן בֶּן־שָׁאֽוּל׃
  
  8 וַיִּקַּ֣ח הַמֶּ֡לֶךְ אֶת־שְׁ֠נֵי בְּנֵ֨י רִצְפָּ֤ה בַת־אַיָּה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יָלְדָ֣ה לְשָׁא֔וּל אֶת־אַרְמֹנִ֖י וְאֶת־מְפִבֹ֑שֶׁת וְאֶת־חֲמֵ֗שֶׁת בְּנֵי֙ מִיכַ֣ל בַּת־שָׁא֔וּל אֲשֶׁ֥ר יָלְדָ֛ה לְעַדְרִיאֵ֥ל בֶּן־בַּרְזִלַּ֖י הַמְּחֹלָתִֽי׃
  
  9 וַֽיִּתְּנֵ֞ם בְּיַ֣ד הַגִּבְעֹנִ֗ים וַיֹּקִיעֻ֤ם בָּהָר֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה וַיִּפְּל֥וּ *שבעתים **שְׁבַעְתָּ֖ם יָ֑חַד *והם **וְהֵ֨מָּה הֻמְת֜וּ בִּימֵ֤י קָצִיר֙ בָּרִ֣אשֹׁנִ֔ים *תחלת **בִּתְחִלַּ֖ת קְצִ֥יר שְׂעֹרִֽים׃
  
  10 וַתִּקַּ֣ח רִצְפָּה֩ בַת־אַיָּ֨ה אֶת־הַשַּׂ֜ק וַתַּטֵּ֨הוּ לָ֤הּ אֶל־הַצּוּר֙ מִתְּחִלַּ֣ת קָצִ֔יר עַ֛ד נִתַּךְ־מַ֥יִם עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם מִן־הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם וְלֹֽא־נָתְנָה֩ ע֨וֹף הַשָּׁמַ֜יִם לָנ֤וּחַ עֲלֵיהֶם֙ יוֹמָ֔ם וְאֶת־חַיַּ֥ת הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה לָֽיְלָה׃
  
  11 וַיֻּגַּ֖ד לְדָוִ֑ד אֵ֧ת אֲשֶׁר־עָשְׂתָ֛ה רִצְפָּ֥ה בַת־אַיָּ֖ה פִּלֶ֥גֶשׁ שָׁאֽוּל׃
  
  12 וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ דָּוִ֗ד וַיִּקַּ֞ח אֶת־עַצְמ֤וֹת שָׁאוּל֙ וְאֶת־עַצְמוֹת֙ יְהוֹנָתָ֣ן בְּנ֔וֹ מֵאֵ֕ת בַּעֲלֵ֖י יָבֵ֣ישׁ גִּלְעָ֑ד אֲשֶׁר֩ גָּנְב֨וּ אֹתָ֜ם מֵרְחֹ֣ב בֵּֽית־שַׁ֗ן אֲשֶׁ֨ר *תלום **תְּלָא֥וּם *שם *הפלשתים **שָׁ֙מָּה֙ **פְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים בְּי֨וֹם הַכּ֧וֹת פְּלִשְׁתִּ֛ים אֶת־שָׁא֖וּל בַּגִּלְבֹּֽעַ׃
  
  13 וַיַּ֤עַל מִשָּׁם֙ אֶת־עַצְמ֣וֹת שָׁא֔וּל וְאֶת־עַצְמ֖וֹת יְהוֹנָתָ֣ן בְּנ֑וֹ וַיַּ֣אַסְפ֔וּ אֶת־עַצְמ֖וֹת הַמּוּקָעִֽים׃
  
  14 וַיִּקְבְּר֣וּ אֶת־עַצְמוֹת־שָׁא֣וּל וִיהוֹנָֽתָן־בְּ֠נוֹ בְּאֶ֨רֶץ בִּנְיָמִ֜ן בְּצֵלָ֗ע בְּקֶ֙בֶר֙ קִ֣ישׁ אָבִ֔יו וַֽיַּעֲשׂ֔וּ כֹּ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּ֖ה הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ וַיֵּעָתֵ֧ר אֱלֹהִ֛ים לָאָ֖רֶץ אַֽחֲרֵי־כֵֽן׃
  
  15 וַתְּהִי־ע֧וֹד מִלְחָמָ֛ה לַפְּלִשְׁתִּ֖ים אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַיֵּ֨רֶד דָּוִ֜ד וַעֲבָדָ֥יו עִמּ֛וֹ וַיִּלָּחֲמ֥וּ אֶת־פְּלִשְׁתִּ֖ים וַיָּ֥עַף דָּוִֽד׃
  
  16 *וישבו **וְיִשְׁבִּ֨י בְּנֹ֜ב אֲשֶׁ֣ר ׀ בִּילִידֵ֣י הָרָפָ֗ה וּמִשְׁקַ֤ל קֵינוֹ֙ שְׁלֹ֤שׁ מֵאוֹת֙ מִשְׁקַ֣ל נְחֹ֔שֶׁת וְה֖וּא חָג֣וּר חֲדָשָׁ֑ה וַיֹּ֖אמֶר לְהַכּ֥וֹת אֶת־דָּוִֽד׃
  
  17 וַיַּֽעֲזָר־לוֹ֙ אֲבִישַׁ֣י בֶּן־צְרוּיָ֔ה וַיַּ֥ךְ אֶת־הַפְּלִשְׁתִּ֖י וַיְמִיתֵ֑הוּ אָ֣ז נִשְׁבְּעוּ֩ אַנְשֵׁי־דָוִ֨ד ל֜וֹ לֵאמֹ֗ר לֹא־תֵצֵ֨א ע֤וֹד אִתָּ֙נוּ֙ לַמִּלְחָמָ֔ה וְלֹ֥א תְכַבֶּ֖ה אֶת־נֵ֥ר יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
  
  18 וַֽיְהִי֙ אַֽחֲרֵי־כֵ֔ן וַתְּהִי־ע֧וֹד הַמִּלְחָמָ֛ה בְּג֖וֹב עִם־פְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים אָ֣ז הִכָּ֗ה סִבְּכַי֙ הַחֻ֣שָׁתִ֔י אֶת־סַ֕ף אֲשֶׁ֖ר בִּילִדֵ֥י הָרָפָֽה׃
  
  19 וַתְּהִי־ע֧וֹד הַמִּלְחָמָ֛ה בְּג֖וֹב עִם־פְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים וַיַּ֡ךְ אֶלְחָנָן֩ בֶּן־יַעְרֵ֨י אֹרְגִ֜ים בֵּ֣ית הַלַּחְמִ֗י אֵ֚ת גָּלְיָ֣ת הַגִּתִּ֔י וְעֵ֣ץ חֲנִית֔וֹ כִּמְנ֖וֹר אֹרְגִֽים׃
  
  20 וַתְּהִי־ע֥וֹד מִלְחָמָ֖ה בְּגַ֑ת וַיְהִ֣י ׀ אִ֣ישׁ *מדין **מָד֗וֹן וְאֶצְבְּעֹ֣ת יָדָיו֩ וְאֶצְבְּעֹ֨ת רַגְלָ֜יו שֵׁ֣שׁ וָשֵׁ֗שׁ עֶשְׂרִ֤ים וְאַרְבַּע֙ מִסְפָּ֔ר וְגַם־ה֖וּא יֻלַּ֥ד לְהָרָפָֽה׃
  
  21 וַיְחָרֵ֖ף אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַיַּכֵּ֙הוּ֙ יְה֣וֹנָתָ֔ן בֶּן־*שמעי **שִׁמְעָ֖ה אֲחִ֥י דָוִֽד׃

  2 בֶּן־אָדָ֡ם אֱמֹר֩ לִנְגִ֨יד צֹ֜ר כֹּֽה־אָמַ֣ר ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהֹוִ֗ה יַ֣עַן גָּבַ֤הּ לִבְּךָ֙ וַתֹּ֙אמֶר֙ אֵ֣ל אָ֔נִי מוֹשַׁ֧ב אֱלֹהִ֛ים יָשַׁ֖בְתִּי בְּלֵ֣ב יַמִּ֑ים וְאַתָּ֤ה אָדָם֙ וְֽלֹא־אֵ֔ל וַתִּתֵּ֥ן לִבְּךָ֖ כְּלֵ֥ב אֱלֹהִֽים׃
  
  3 הִנֵּ֥ה חָכָ֛ם אַתָּ֖ה *מדנאל **מִדָּֽנִיֵּ֑אל כָּל־סָת֖וּם לֹ֥א עֲמָמֽוּךָ׃
  
  4 בְּחָכְמָֽתְךָ֙ וּבִתְבוּנָ֣תְךָ֔ עָשִׂ֥יתָ לְּךָ֖ חָ֑יִל וַתַּ֛עַשׂ זָהָ֥ב וָכֶ֖סֶף בְּאוֹצְרוֹתֶֽיךָ׃
  
  5 בְּרֹ֧ב חָכְמָתְךָ֛ בִּרְכֻלָּתְךָ֖ הִרְבִּ֣יתָ חֵילֶ֑ךָ וַיִּגְבַּ֥הּ לְבָבְךָ֖ בְּחֵילֶֽךָ׃
  
  6 לָכֵ֕ן כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֑ה יַ֛עַן תִּתְּךָ֥ אֶת־לְבָבְךָ֖ כְּלֵ֥ב אֱלֹהִֽים׃
  
  7 לָכֵ֗ן הִנְנִ֨י מֵבִ֤יא עָלֶ֙יךָ֙ זָרִ֔ים עָרִיצֵ֖י גּוֹיִ֑ם וְהֵרִ֤יקוּ חַרְבוֹתָם֙ עַל־יְפִ֣י חָכְמָתֶ֔ךָ וְחִלְּל֖וּ יִפְעָתֶֽךָ׃
  
  8 לַשַּׁ֖חַת יֽוֹרִד֑וּךָ וָמַ֛תָּה מְמוֹתֵ֥י חָלָ֖ל בְּלֵ֥ב יַמִּֽים׃
  
  9 הֶאָמֹ֤ר תֹּאמַר֙ אֱלֹהִ֣ים אָ֔נִי לִפְנֵ֖י הֹֽרְגֶ֑ךָ וְאַתָּ֥ה אָדָ֛ם וְלֹא־אֵ֖ל בְּיַ֥ד מְחַלְלֶֽיךָ׃
  
  10 מוֹתֵ֧י עֲרֵלִ֛ים תָּמ֖וּת בְּיַד־זָרִ֑ים כִּ֚י אֲנִ֣י דִבַּ֔רְתִּי נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃

  12 בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם שָׂ֥א קִינָ֖ה עַל־מֶ֣לֶךְ צ֑וֹר וְאָמַ֣רְתָּ לּ֗וֹ כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה אַתָּה֙ חוֹתֵ֣ם תָּכְנִ֔ית מָלֵ֥א חָכְמָ֖ה וּכְלִ֥יל יֹֽפִי׃
  
  13 בְּעֵ֨דֶן גַּן־אֱלֹהִ֜ים הָיִ֗יתָ כָּל־אֶ֨בֶן יְקָרָ֤ה מְסֻכָתֶ֙ךָ֙ אֹ֣דֶם פִּטְדָ֞ה וְיָהֲלֹ֗ם תַּרְשִׁ֥ישׁ שֹׁ֙הַם֙ וְיָ֣שְׁפֵ֔ה סַפִּ֣יר נֹ֔פֶךְ וּבָרְקַ֖ת וְזָהָ֑ב מְלֶ֨אכֶת תֻּפֶּ֤יךָ וּנְקָבֶ֙יךָ֙ בָּ֔ךְ בְּי֥וֹם הִבָּרַאֲךָ֖ כּוֹנָֽנוּ׃
  
  14 אַ֨תְּ־כְּר֔וּב מִמְשַׁ֖ח הַסּוֹכֵ֑ךְ וּנְתַתִּ֗יךָ בְּהַ֨ר קֹ֤דֶשׁ אֱלֹהִים֙ הָיִ֔יתָ בְּת֥וֹךְ אַבְנֵי־אֵ֖שׁ הִתְהַלָּֽכְתָּ׃
  
  15 תָּמִ֤ים אַתָּה֙ בִּדְרָכֶ֔יךָ מִיּ֖וֹם הִבָּֽרְאָ֑ךְ עַד־נִמְצָ֥א עַוְלָ֖תָה בָּֽךְ׃
  
  16 בְּרֹ֣ב רְכֻלָּתְךָ֗ מָל֧וּ תוֹכְךָ֛ חָמָ֖ס וַֽתֶּחֱטָ֑א וָאֶחַלֶּלְךָ֩ מֵהַ֨ר אֱלֹהִ֤ים וָֽאַבֶּדְךָ֙ כְּר֣וּב הַסֹּכֵ֔ךְ מִתּ֖וֹךְ אַבְנֵי־אֵֽשׁ׃
  
  17 גָּבַ֤הּ לִבְּךָ֙ בְּיָפְיֶ֔ךָ שִׁחַ֥תָּ חָכְמָתְךָ֖ עַל־יִפְעָתֶ֑ךָ עַל־אֶ֣רֶץ הִשְׁלַכְתִּ֗יךָ לִפְנֵ֧י מְלָכִ֛ים נְתַתִּ֖יךָ לְרַ֥אֲוָה בָֽךְ׃
  
  18 מֵרֹ֣ב עֲוֺנֶ֗יךָ בְּעֶ֙וֶל֙ רְכֻלָּ֣תְךָ֔ חִלַּ֖לְתָּ מִקְדָּשֶׁ֑יךָ וָֽאוֹצִא־אֵ֤שׁ מִתּֽוֹכְךָ֙ הִ֣יא אֲכָלַ֔תְךָ וָאֶתֶּנְךָ֤ לְאֵ֙פֶר֙ עַל־הָאָ֔רֶץ לְעֵינֵ֖י כָּל־רֹאֶֽיךָ׃
  
  19 כָּל־יוֹדְעֶ֙יךָ֙ בָּֽעַמִּ֔ים שָׁמְמ֖וּ עָלֶ֑יךָ בַּלָּה֣וֹת הָיִ֔יתָ וְאֵינְךָ֖ עַד־עוֹלָֽם׃

  22 וְאָמַרְתָּ֗ כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה הִנְנִ֤י עָלַ֙יִךְ֙ צִיד֔וֹן וְנִכְבַּדְתִּ֖י בְּתוֹכֵ֑ךְ וְֽיָדְע֞וּ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֗ה בַּעֲשׂ֥וֹתִי בָ֛הּ שְׁפָטִ֖ים וְנִקְדַּ֥שְׁתִּי בָֽהּ׃
  
  23 וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי־בָ֞הּ דֶּ֤בֶר וָדָם֙ בְּח֣וּצוֹתֶ֔יהָ וְנִפְלַ֤ל חָלָל֙ בְּתוֹכָ֔הּ בְּחֶ֥רֶב עָלֶ֖יהָ מִסָּבִ֑יב וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃
  
  24 וְלֹֽא־יִהְיֶ֨ה ע֜וֹד לְבֵ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל סִלּ֤וֹן מַמְאִיר֙ וְק֣וֹץ מַכְאִ֔ב מִכֹּל֙ סְבִ֣יבֹתָ֔ם הַשָּׁאטִ֖ים אוֹתָ֑ם וְיָ֣דְע֔וּ כִּ֥י אֲנִ֖י אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃

  1 Παῦλος ἀπόστολος, οὐκ ἀπ’ ἀνθρώπων οὐδὲ δι’ ἀνθρώπου ἀλλὰ διὰ Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ καὶ θεοῦ πατρὸς τοῦ ἐγείραντος αὐτὸν ἐκ νεκρῶν,
  
  2 καὶ οἱ σὺν ἐμοὶ πάντες ἀδελφοί, ταῖς ἐκκλησίαις τῆς Γαλατίας·
  
  3 χάρις ὑμῖν καὶ εἰρήνη ἀπὸ θεοῦ πατρὸς καὶ κυρίου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ,
  
  4 τοῦ δόντος ἑαυτὸν ὑπὲρ τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν ἡμῶν ὅπως ἐξέληται ἡμᾶς ἐκ τοῦ αἰῶνος τοῦ ἐνεστῶτος πονηροῦ κατὰ τὸ θέλημα τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ πατρὸς ἡμῶν,
  
  5 ᾧ ἡ δόξα εἰς τοὺς αἰῶνας τῶν αἰώνων· ἀμήν.
  
  6 Θαυμάζω ὅτι οὕτως ταχέως μετατίθεσθε ἀπὸ τοῦ καλέσαντος ὑμᾶς ἐν χάριτι Χριστοῦ εἰς ἕτερον εὐαγγέλιον,
  
  7 ὃ οὐκ ἔστιν ἄλλο· εἰ μή τινές εἰσιν οἱ ταράσσοντες ὑμᾶς καὶ θέλοντες μεταστρέψαι τὸ εὐαγγέλιον τοῦ Χριστοῦ.
  
  8 ἀλλὰ καὶ ἐὰν ἡμεῖς ἢ ἄγγελος ἐξ οὐρανοῦ εὐαγγελίζηται ὑμῖν παρ’ ὃ εὐηγγελισάμεθα ὑμῖν, ἀνάθεμα ἔστω.
  
  9 ὡς προειρήκαμεν, καὶ ἄρτι πάλιν λέγω, εἴ τις ὑμᾶς εὐαγγελίζεται παρ’ ὃ παρελάβετε, ἀνάθεμα ἔστω.
  
  10 Ἄρτι γὰρ ἀνθρώπους πείθω ἢ τὸν θεόν; ἢ ζητῶ ἀνθρώποις ἀρέσκειν; εἰ ἔτι ἀνθρώποις ἤρεσκον, Χριστοῦ δοῦλος οὐκ ἂν ἤμην.
  
  11 Γνωρίζω γὰρ ὑμῖν, ἀδελφοί, τὸ εὐαγγέλιον τὸ εὐαγγελισθὲν ὑπ’ ἐμοῦ ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν κατὰ ἄνθρωπον·
  
  12 οὐδὲ γὰρ ἐγὼ παρὰ ἀνθρώπου παρέλαβον αὐτό, οὔτε ἐδιδάχθην, ἀλλὰ δι’ ἀποκαλύψεως Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ.
  
  13 Ἠκούσατε γὰρ τὴν ἐμὴν ἀναστροφήν ποτε ἐν τῷ Ἰουδαϊσμῷ, ὅτι καθ’ ὑπερβολὴν ἐδίωκον τὴν ἐκκλησίαν τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ ἐπόρθουν αὐτήν,
  
  14 καὶ προέκοπτον ἐν τῷ Ἰουδαϊσμῷ ὑπὲρ πολλοὺς συνηλικιώτας ἐν τῷ γένει μου, περισσοτέρως ζηλωτὴς ὑπάρχων τῶν πατρικῶν μου παραδόσεων.
  
  15 ὅτε δὲ εὐδόκησεν ὁ ἀφορίσας με ἐκ κοιλίας μητρός μου καὶ καλέσας διὰ τῆς χάριτος αὐτοῦ
  
  16 ἀποκαλύψαι τὸν υἱὸν αὐτοῦ ἐν ἐμοὶ ἵνα εὐαγγελίζωμαι αὐτὸν ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν, εὐθέως οὐ προσανεθέμην σαρκὶ καὶ αἵματι,
  
  17 οὐδὲ ἀνῆλθον εἰς Ἱεροσόλυμα πρὸς τοὺς πρὸ ἐμοῦ ἀποστόλους, ἀλλὰ ἀπῆλθον εἰς Ἀραβίαν, καὶ πάλιν ὑπέστρεψα εἰς Δαμασκόν.
  
  18 Ἔπειτα μετὰ ἔτη τρία ἀνῆλθον εἰς Ἱεροσόλυμα ἱστορῆσαι Κηφᾶν, καὶ ἐπέμεινα πρὸς αὐτὸν ἡμέρας δεκαπέντε·
  
  19 ἕτερον δὲ τῶν ἀποστόλων οὐκ εἶδον, εἰ μὴ Ἰάκωβον τὸν ἀδελφὸν τοῦ κυρίου.
  
  20 ἃ δὲ γράφω ὑμῖν, ἰδοὺ ἐνώπιον τοῦ θεοῦ ὅτι οὐ ψεύδομαι.
  
  21 ἔπειτα ἦλθον εἰς τὰ κλίματα τῆς Συρίας καὶ τῆς Κιλικίας.
  
  22 ἤμην δὲ ἀγνοούμενος τῷ προσώπῳ ταῖς ἐκκλησίαις τῆς Ἰουδαίας ταῖς ἐν Χριστῷ,
  
  23 μόνον δὲ ἀκούοντες ἦσαν ὅτι Ὁ διώκων ἡμᾶς ποτε νῦν εὐαγγελίζεται τὴν πίστιν ἥν ποτε ἐπόρθει,
  
  24 καὶ ἐδόξαζον ἐν ἐμοὶ τὸν θεόν.
