- 1 Rois 3
  
  1 Et Salomon s'allia par mariage avec le Pharaon, roi d'Égypte, et prit pour femme la fille du Pharaon ; et il l'amena dans la ville de David, jusqu'à ce qu'il eût achevé de bâtir sa maison, et la maison de l'Éternel, et la muraille de Jérusalem, tout à l'entour.
  
  2 Seulement le peuple sacrifiait sur les hauts lieux ; car aucune maison ne fut bâtie pour le nom de l'Éternel jusqu'à ces jours-là.
  
  3 Et Salomon aimait l'Éternel, marchant dans les statuts de David, son père ; seulement il offrait des sacrifices et faisait fumer de l'encens sur les hauts lieux.
  
  4 Et le roi s'en alla à Gabaon pour y sacrifier, car c'était le principal haut lieu ; Salomon offrit mille holocaustes sur cet autel.
  
  5 L'Éternel apparut à Salomon, à Gabaon, dans un songe de la nuit. Et Dieu dit : Demande ce que tu veux que je te donne.
  
  6 Et Salomon dit : Tu as usé d'une grande bonté envers ton serviteur David, mon père, selon qu'il a marché devant toi en vérité et en justice, et en droiture de coeur avec toi ; et tu lui as gardé cette grande bonté, et tu lui as donné un fils qui est assis sur son trône, comme il en est aujourd'hui.
  
  7 Et maintenant, Éternel, mon Dieu, tu as fait roi ton serviteur en la place de David, mon père, et moi, je suis un jeune garçon, je ne sais pas sortir et entrer ;
  
  8 et ton serviteur est au milieu de ton peuple, que tu as choisi, un peuple nombreux, qui ne se peut compter ni nombrer à cause de sa multitude.
  
  9 Donne donc à ton serviteur un coeur qui écoute, pour juger ton peuple, pour discerner entre le bien et le mal ; car qui est capable de juger ton si grand peuple ?
  
  10 Et la parole fut bonne aux yeux du Seigneur, que Salomon eût demandé cette chose.
  
  11 Et Dieu lui dit : Parce que tu as demandé cela, et que tu n'as pas demandé pour toi de longs jours, et que tu n'as pas demandé pour toi des richesses, et que tu n'as pas demandé la vie de tes ennemis, mais que tu as demandé pour toi du discernement afin de comprendre le juste jugement,
  
  12 voici, j'ai fait selon ta parole ; voici, je t'ai donné un coeur sage et intelligent, en sorte qu'il n'y aura eu personne comme toi avant toi, et qu'après toi il ne se lèvera personne comme toi.
  
  13 Et je t'ai donné aussi ce que tu n'as pas demandé, tant les richesses que la gloire, de sorte qu'il n'y aura personne comme toi parmi les rois, tous tes jours.
  
  14 Et si tu marches dans mes voies, gardant mes statuts et mes commandements, comme David, ton père, a marché, alors je prolongerai tes jours.
  
  15 Et Salomon se réveilla, et voici, c'était un songe. Et il vint à Jérusalem, et se tint devant l'arche de l'alliance de l'Éternel, et offrit des holocaustes, et offrit des sacrifices de prospérités, et fit un festin à tous ses serviteurs.
  
  16 Alors deux femmes prostituées vinrent vers le roi, et se tinrent devant lui.
  
  17 Et la première femme dit : Ah, mon seigneur ! moi et cette femme nous habitions la même maison, et j'accouchai étant avec elle dans la maison.
  
  18 Et il arriva, le troisième jour après que j'eus accouché, que cette femme aussi accoucha. Et nous étions ensemble ; aucun étranger n'était avec nous dans la maison, il n'y avait que nous deux dans la maison.
  
  19 Et le fils de cette femme mourut dans la nuit, parce qu'elle s'était couchée sur lui.
  
  20 Et elle se leva au milieu de la nuit, et prit mon fils d'à côté de moi, pendant que ta servante dormait, et le coucha dans son sein ; et son fils, qui était mort, elle le coucha dans mon sein.
  
  21 Et je me levai le matin pour donner à téter à mon fils, et voici, il était mort ; et je le considérai au matin, et voici, ce n'était pas mon fils que j'avais enfanté.
  
  22 Et l'autre femme dit : Non, car mon fils est celui qui vit, et ton fils est celui qui est mort. Et celle-là disait : Non, car ton fils est celui qui est mort, et mon fils est celui qui vit. Elles parlaient ainsi devant le roi.
  
  23 Et le roi dit : Celle-ci dit : Celui-ci est mon fils, qui vit, et ton fils, c'est celui qui est mort ; et celle-là dit : Non, car c'est ton fils qui est mort, et mon fils est celui qui vit.
  
  24 Et le roi dit : Apportez-moi une épée. Et on apporta l'épée devant le roi.
  
  25 Et le roi dit : Coupez en deux l'enfant qui vit, et donnez la moitié à l'une, et la moitié à l'autre.
  
  26 Et la femme à qui était l'enfant vivant parla au roi, car ses entrailles étaient tout émues pour son fils, et elle dit : Ah, mon seigneur ! donnez-lui l'enfant vivant, et ne le tuez point. Et l'autre dit : Qu'il ne soit ni à moi, ni à toi ; coupez-le en deux !
  
  27 Et le roi répondit et dit : Donnez à celle-là l'enfant qui vit, et ne le tuez point : c'est elle qui est sa mère.
  
  28 Et tout Israël entendit parler du jugement que le roi avait prononcé ; et ils craignirent le roi, car ils voyaient que la sagesse de Dieu était en lui pour faire justice.
  
  Ezéchiel 34
  
  1 Et la parole de l'Éternel vint à moi, disant :
  
  2 Fils d'homme, prophétise contre les pasteurs d'Israël ; prophétise, et dis-leur, à ces pasteurs : Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Malheur aux pasteurs d'Israël, qui se paissent eux-mêmes ! Les pasteurs ne doivent-ils pas paître le troupeau ?
  
  3 Vous mangez la graisse, et vous vous habillez de laine ; vous égorgez ce qui est engraissé ; vous ne paissez pas le troupeau.
  
  4 Vous n'avez pas fortifié les brebis faibles, et vous n'avez pas guéri celle qui était malade, et vous n'avez pas bandé celle qui était blessée, et vous n'avez pas ramené celle qui était égarée, et vous n'avez pas cherché celle qui était perdue ; mais vous les avez gouvernées avec dureté et rigueur.
  
  5 Et elles ont été dispersées, parce qu'il n'y avait pas de pasteur, et elles étaient la pâture de toutes les bêtes des champs, et elles ont été dispersées.
  
  6 Mes brebis ont erré dans toutes les montagnes et sur toute haute colline, et mes brebis ont été dispersées sur toute la face du pays, et il n'y a eu personne qui les ait recherchées, personne qui se soit enquis d'elles.
  
  7 C'est pourquoi, pasteurs, écoutez la parole de l'Éternel :
  
  8 Je suis vivant, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : parce que mes brebis ont été une proie, et que mes brebis ont été la pâture de toutes les bêtes des champs, faute de pasteur, et que mes pasteurs n'ont pas cherché mes brebis, mais que les pasteurs se paissaient eux-mêmes, et ne paissaient pas mes brebis !...
  
  9 C'est pourquoi, pasteurs, écoutez la parole de l'Éternel !
  
  10 Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Voici, j'en veux à ces pasteurs, et je réclamerai mes brebis de leur main ; je les ferai cesser de paître le troupeau, et les pasteurs ne se paîtront plus eux-mêmes ; et je délivrerai mes brebis de leur bouche, et ils ne les mangeront plus.
  
  11 Car, ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Me voici, moi, et je rechercherai mes brebis, et j'en prendrai soin.
  
  12 Comme un berger prend soin de son troupeau au jour où il est au milieu de ses brebis dispersées, ainsi je prendrai soin de mes brebis, et je les sauverai de tous les lieux où elles ont été dispersées au jour de la nuée et de l'obscurité profonde.
  
  13 Et je les ferai sortir d'entre les peuples, et je les rassemblerai des pays, et les amènerai dans leur terre ; et je les paîtrai sur les montagnes d'Israël, auprès des ruisseaux et dans toutes les habitations du pays ;
  
  14 je les ferai paître dans un bon pâturage, et leur parc sera dans les hautes montagnes d'Israël ; elles seront là, couchées dans un bon parc, et paîtront dans de gras pâturages, sur les montagnes d'Israël.
  
  15 Moi-même je paîtrai mes brebis, et moi je les ferai reposer, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel.
  
  16 La perdue, je la chercherai, et l'égarée, je la ramènerai, et la blessée, je la banderai, et la malade, je la fortifierai : mais je détruirai la grasse et la forte. Je les paîtrai avec jugement.
  
  17 Mais vous, mon troupeau, -ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Voici, je juge entre brebis et brebis, entre béliers et boucs.
  
  18 Est-ce trop peu pour vous de brouter le bon pâturage, pour que vous fouliez avec vos pieds le reste de votre pâturage ; -et de boire les eaux limpides, pour que vous troubliez le reste avec vos pieds ?
  
  19 Et mes brebis ont pour pâture ce que vos pieds ont foulé, et elles boivent ce que vos pieds ont troublé.
  
  20 C'est pourquoi, ainsi leur dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Me voici, moi ; et je jugerai entre la brebis grasse et la brebis maigre.
  
  21 Parce que vous poussez du côté et de l'épaule, et que vous heurtez de vos cornes toutes les brebis faibles, jusqu'à ce que vous les ayez dispersées au dehors,
  
  22 je sauverai mes brebis, et elles ne seront plus une proie, et je jugerai entre brebis et brebis.
  
  23 Et je susciterai sur eux un pasteur qui les paîtra, mon serviteur David : lui les paîtra, et lui sera leur pasteur.
  
  24 Et moi l'Éternel, je serai leur Dieu, et mon serviteur David sera prince au milieu d'eux. Moi, l'Éternel, j'ai parlé.
  
  25 Et je ferai avec eux une alliance de paix, et je mettrai fin aux bêtes mauvaises dans le pays ; et ils habiteront dans le désert en sécurité, et dormiront dans les forêts.
  
  26 Et d'eux et des alentours de ma colline, je ferai une bénédiction ; et je ferai tomber la pluie en son temps : ce seront des pluies de bénédiction.
  
  27 Et l'arbre des champs donnera son fruit, et la terre donnera son rapport ; et ils seront dans leur terre en sécurité, et sauront que je suis l'Éternel, quand j'aurai brisé les liens de leur joug, et que je les aurai sauvés de la main de ceux qui les tenaient asservis.
  
  28 Et ils ne seront plus en proie aux nations, et les bêtes de la terre ne les dévoreront plus ; mais ils habiteront en sécurité, et il n'y aura personne qui les effraye.
  
  29 Et je leur susciterai un plant de renom ; et ils ne seront plus enlevés par la famine dans le pays, et ils ne porteront plus l'ignominie des nations.
  
  30 Et ils sauront que moi, l'Éternel, leur Dieu, je suis avec eux, et qu'eux, la maison d'Israël, ils sont mon peuple, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel.
  
  31 Et vous, mon troupeau, le troupeau de ma pâture, vous êtes des hommes ; moi, je suis votre Dieu, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel.
  
  Ephésiens 1
  
  1 Paul, apôtre de Jésus Christ par la volonté de Dieu, aux saints et fidèles dans le Christ Jésus, qui sont à Éphèse :
  
  2 Grâce et paix à vous, de la part de Dieu notre Père et du Seigneur Jésus Christ !
  
  3 Béni soit le Dieu et Père de notre Seigneur Jésus Christ, qui nous a bénis de toutes bénédiction spirituelle dans les lieux célestes en Christ ;
  
  4 selon qu'il nous a élus en lui avant la fondation du monde, pour que nous fussions saints et irréprochables devant lui en amour,
  
  5 nous ayant prédestinés pour nous adopter pour lui par Jésus Christ, selon le bon plaisir de sa volonté,
  
  6 à la louange de la gloire de sa grâce dans laquelle il nous a rendus agréables dans le Bien-aimé ;
  
  7 en qui nous avons la rédemption par son sang, la rémission des fautes selon les richesses de sa grâce :
  
  8 laquelle il a fait abonder envers nous en toute sagesse et intelligence,
  
  9 nous ayant fait connaître le mystère de sa volonté selon son bon plaisir,
  
  10 qu'il s'est proposé en lui-même pour l'administration de la plénitude des temps, savoir de réunir en un toutes choses dans le Christ, les choses qui sont dans les cieux et les choses qui sont sur la terre en lui,
  
  11 en qui nous avons aussi été faits héritiers, ayant été prédestinés selon le propos de celui qui opère toutes choses selon le conseil de sa volonté,
  
  12 afin que nous soyons à la louange de sa gloire, nous qui avons espéré à l'avance dans le Christ :
  
  13 en qui vous aussi vous avez espéré, ayant entendu la parole de la vérité, l'évangile de votre salut ; auquel aussi ayant cru, vous avez été scellés du Saint Esprit de la promesse,
  
  14 qui est les arrhes de notre héritage, pour la rédemption de la possession acquise, à la louange de sa gloire.
  
  15 C'est pourquoi moi aussi, ayant ouï parler de la foi au Seigneur Jésus qui est en vous, et de l'amour que vous avez pour tous les saints,
  
  16 je ne cesse de rendre grâces pour vous, faisant mention de vous dans mes prières,
  
  17 afin que le Dieu de notre Seigneur Jésus Christ, le Père de gloire, vous donne l'esprit de sagesse et de révélation dans sa connaissance,
  
  18 les yeux de votre coeur étant éclairés, pour que vous sachiez quelle est l'espérance de son appel, et quelles sont les richesses de la gloire de son héritage dans les saints,
  
  19 et quelle est l'excellente grandeur de sa puissance envers nous qui croyons, selon l'opération de la puissance de sa force,
  
  20 qu'il a opérée dans le Christ, en le ressuscitant d'entre les morts ; - (et il l'a fait asseoir à sa droite dans les lieux célestes,
  
  21 au-dessus de toute principauté, et autorité, et puissance, et domination, et de tout nom qui se nomme, non seulement dans ce siècle, mais aussi dans celui qui est à venir ;
  
  22 et il a assujetti toutes choses sous ses pieds, et l'a donné pour être chef sur toutes choses à l'assemblée,
  
  23 qui est son corps, la plénitude de celui qui remplit tout en tous ;)

  1 Solomon made affinity with Pharaoh king of Egypt, and took Pharaoh's daughter, and brought her into the city of David, until he had made an end of building his own house, and the house of Yahweh, and the wall of Jerusalem all around.
  
  2 Only the people sacrificed in the high places, because there was no house built for the name of Yahweh until those days.
  
  3 Solomon loved Yahweh, walking in the statutes of David his father: only he sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places.
  
  4 The king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place. Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar.
  
  5 In Gibeon Yahweh appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said, "Ask what I shall give you."
  
  6 Solomon said, "You have shown to your servant David my father great loving kindness, according as he walked before you in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with you. You have kept for him this great loving kindness, that you have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.
  
  7 Now, Yahweh my God, you have made your servant king instead of David my father. I am but a little child. I don't know how to go out or come in.
  
  8 Your servant is in the midst of your people which you have chosen, a great people, that can't be numbered nor counted for multitude.
  
  9 Give your servant therefore an understanding heart to judge your people, that I may discern between good and evil; for who is able to judge this your great people?"
  
  10 The speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing.
  
  11 God said to him, "Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked for yourself long life, neither have asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern justice;
  
  12 behold, I have done according to your word. Behold, I have given you a wise and an understanding heart; so that there has been none like you before you, neither after you shall any arise like you.
  
  13 I have also given you that which you have not asked, both riches and honor, so that there shall not be any among the kings like you, all your days.
  
  14 If you will walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as your father David walked, then I will lengthen your days."
  
  15 Solomon awoke; and behold, it was a dream. Then he came to Jerusalem, and stood before the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, and offered up burnt offerings, offered peace offerings, and made a feast to all his servants.
  
  16 Then two women who were prostitutes came to the king, and stood before him.
  
  17 The one woman said, "Oh, my lord, I and this woman dwell in one house. I delivered a child with her in the house.
  
  18 It happened the third day after I delivered, that this woman delivered also. We were together. There was no stranger with us in the house, just us two in the house.
  
  19 This woman's child died in the night, because she lay on it.
  
  20 She arose at midnight, and took my son from beside me, while your handmaid slept, and laid it in her bosom, and laid her dead child in my bosom.
  
  21 When I rose in the morning to nurse my child, behold, it was dead; but when I had looked at it in the morning, behold, it was not my son, whom I bore."
  
  22 The other woman said, "No; but the living is my son, and the dead is your son." This said, "No; but the dead is your son, and the living is my son." Thus they spoke before the king.
  
  23 Then the king said, "The one says, 'This is my son who lives, and your son is the dead;' and the other says, 'No; but your son is the dead one, and my son is the living one.'"
  
  24 The king said, "Get me a sword." They brought a sword before the king.
  
  25 The king said, "Divide the living child in two, and give half to the one, and half to the other."
  
  26 Then the woman whose the living child was spoke to the king, for her heart yearned over her son, and she said, "Oh, my lord, give her the living child, and in no way kill it!" But the other said, "It shall be neither mine nor yours. Divide it."
  
  27 Then the king answered, "Give her the living child, and in no way kill it. She is its mother."
  
  28 All Israel heard of the judgment which the king had judged; and they feared the king: for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him, to do justice.
  
  Ezéchiel 34
  
  1 The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
  
  2 Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and tell them, even to the shepherds, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Shouldn't the shepherds feed the sheep?
  
  3 You eat the fat, and you clothe yourself with the wool, you kill the fatlings; but you don't feed the sheep.
  
  4 You haven't strengthened the diseased, neither have you healed that which was sick, neither have you bound up that which was broken, neither have you brought back that which was driven away, neither have you sought that which was lost; but with force and with rigor you have ruled over them.
  
  5 They were scattered, because there was no shepherd; and they became food to all the animals of the field, and were scattered.
  
  6 My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and on every high hill: yes, my sheep were scattered on all the surface of the earth; and there was none who searched or sought.
  
  7 Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of Yahweh:
  
  8 As I live, says the Lord Yahweh, surely because my sheep became a prey, and my sheep became food to all the animals of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my sheep, but the shepherds fed themselves, and didn't feed my sheep;
  
  9 therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of Yahweh:
  
  10 Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my sheep at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the sheep; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; and I will deliver my sheep from their mouth, that they may not be food for them.
  
  11 For thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I myself, even I, will search for my sheep, and will seek them out.
  
  12 As a shepherd seeks out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered abroad, so will I seek out my sheep; and I will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.
  
  13 I will bring them out from the peoples, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them into their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the watercourses, and in all the inhabited places of the country.
  
  14 I will feed them with good pasture; and on the mountains of the height of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie down in a good fold; and on fat pasture shall they feed on the mountains of Israel.
  
  15 I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, and I will cause them to lie down, says the Lord Yahweh.
  
  16 I will seek that which was lost, and will bring back that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but the fat and the strong I will destroy; I will feed them in justice.
  
  17 As for you, O my flock, thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I judge between sheep and sheep, the rams and the male goats.
  
  18 Does it seem a small thing to you to have fed on the good pasture, but you must tread down with your feet the residue of your pasture? and to have drunk of the clear waters, but you must foul the residue with your feet?
  
  19 As for my sheep, they eat that which you have trodden with your feet, and they drink that which you have fouled with your feet.
  
  20 Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh to them: Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.
  
  21 Because you thrust with side and with shoulder, and push all the diseased with your horns, until you have scattered them abroad;
  
  22 therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between sheep and sheep.
  
  23 I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.
  
  24 I, Yahweh, will be their God, and my servant David prince among them; I, Yahweh, have spoken it.
  
  25 I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause evil animals to cease out of the land; and they shall dwell securely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.
  
  26 I will make them and the places around my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in its season; there shall be showers of blessing.
  
  27 The tree of the field shall yield its fruit, and the earth shall yield its increase, and they shall be secure in their land; and they shall know that I am Yahweh, when I have broken the bars of their yoke, and have delivered them out of the hand of those who made slaves of them.
  
  28 They shall no more be a prey to the nations, neither shall the animals of the earth devour them; but they shall dwell securely, and none shall make them afraid.
  
  29 I will raise up to them a plantation for renown, and they shall be no more consumed with famine in the land, neither bear the shame of the nations any more.
  
  30 They shall know that I, Yahweh, their God am with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are my people, says the Lord Yahweh.
  
  31 You my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, says the Lord Yahweh.
  
  Ephésiens 1
  
  1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, to the saints who are at Ephesus, and the faithful in Christ Jesus:
  
  2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
  
  3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ;
  
  4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without blemish before him in love;
  
  5 having predestined us for adoption as children through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his desire,
  
  6 to the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he freely bestowed favor on us in the Beloved,
  
  7 in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,
  
  8 which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,
  
  9 making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him
  
  10 to an administration of the fullness of the times, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens, and the things on the earth, in him;
  
  11 in whom also we were assigned an inheritance, having been foreordained according to the purpose of him who works all things after the counsel of his will;
  
  12 to the end that we should be to the praise of his glory, we who had before hoped in Christ:
  
  13 in whom you also, having heard the word of the truth, the Good News of your salvation--in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,
  
  14 who is a pledge of our inheritance, to the redemption of God's own possession, to the praise of his glory.
  
  15 For this cause I also, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which is among you, and the love which you have toward all the saints,
  
  16 don't cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers,
  
  17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him;
  
  18 having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
  
  19 and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might
  
  20 which he worked in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places,
  
  21 far above all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come.
  
  22 He put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things for the assembly,

  1 וַיִּתְחַתֵּ֣ן שְׁלֹמֹ֔ה אֶת־פַּרְעֹ֖ה מֶ֣לֶךְ מִצְרָ֑יִם וַיִּקַּ֣ח אֶת־בַּת־פַּרְעֹ֗ה וַיְבִיאֶ֙הָ֙ אֶל־עִ֣יר דָּוִ֔ד עַ֣ד כַּלֹּת֗וֹ לִבְנ֤וֹת אֶת־בֵּיתוֹ֙ וְאֶת־בֵּ֣ית יְהוָ֔ה וְאֶת־חוֹמַ֥ת יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם סָבִֽיב׃
  
  2 רַ֣ק הָעָ֔ם מְזַבְּחִ֖ים בַּבָּמ֑וֹת כִּ֠י לֹא־נִבְנָ֥ה בַ֙יִת֙ לְשֵׁ֣ם יְהוָ֔ה עַ֖ד הַיָּמִ֥ים הָהֵֽם׃
  
  3 וַיֶּאֱהַ֤ב שְׁלֹמֹה֙ אֶת־יְהוָ֔ה לָלֶ֕כֶת בְּחֻקּ֖וֹת דָּוִ֣ד אָבִ֑יו רַ֚ק בַּבָּמ֔וֹת ה֥וּא מְזַבֵּ֖חַ וּמַקְטִֽיר׃
  
  4 וַיֵּ֨לֶךְ הַמֶּ֤לֶךְ גִּבְעֹ֙נָה֙ לִזְבֹּ֣חַ שָׁ֔ם כִּ֥י הִ֖יא הַבָּמָ֣ה הַגְּדוֹלָ֑ה אֶ֤לֶף עֹלוֹת֙ יַעֲלֶ֣ה שְׁלֹמֹ֔ה עַ֖ל הַמִּזְבֵּ֥חַ הַהֽוּא׃
  
  5 בְּגִבְע֗וֹן נִרְאָ֧ה יְהֹוָ֛ה אֶל־שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה בַּחֲל֣וֹם הַלָּ֑יְלָה וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֱלֹהִ֔ים שְׁאַ֖ל מָ֥ה אֶתֶּן־לָֽךְ׃
  
  6 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר שְׁלֹמֹ֗ה אַתָּ֨ה עָשִׂ֜יתָ עִם־עַבְדְּךָ֙ דָוִ֣ד אָבִי֮ חֶ֣סֶד גָּדוֹל֒ כַּאֲשֶׁר֩ הָלַ֨ךְ לְפָנֶ֜יךָ בֶּאֱמֶ֧ת וּבִצְדָקָ֛ה וּבְיִשְׁרַ֥ת לֵבָ֖ב עִמָּ֑ךְ וַתִּשְׁמָר־ל֗וֹ אֶת־הַחֶ֤סֶד הַגָּדוֹל֙ הַזֶּ֔ה וַתִּתֶּן־ל֥וֹ בֵ֛ן יֹשֵׁ֥ב עַל־כִּסְא֖וֹ כַּיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃
  
  7 וְעַתָּה֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהָ֔י אַתָּה֙ הִמְלַ֣כְתָּ אֶֽת־עַבְדְּךָ֔ תַּ֖חַת דָּוִ֣ד אָבִ֑י וְאָֽנֹכִי֙ נַ֣עַר קָטֹ֔ן לֹ֥א אֵדַ֖ע צֵ֥את וָבֹֽא׃
  
  8 וְעַ֨בְדְּךָ֔ בְּת֥וֹךְ עַמְּךָ֖ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בָּחָ֑רְתָּ עַם־רָ֕ב אֲשֶׁ֧ר לֹֽא־יִמָּנֶ֛ה וְלֹ֥א יִסָּפֵ֖ר מֵרֹֽב׃
  
  9 וְנָתַתָּ֨ לְעַבְדְּךָ֜ לֵ֤ב שֹׁמֵ֙עַ֙ לִשְׁפֹּ֣ט אֶֽת־עַמְּךָ֔ לְהָבִ֖ין בֵּֽין־ט֣וֹב לְרָ֑ע כִּ֣י מִ֤י יוּכַל֙ לִשְׁפֹּ֔ט אֶת־עַמְּךָ֥ הַכָּבֵ֖ד הַזֶּֽה׃
  
  10 וַיִּיטַ֥ב הַדָּבָ֖ר בְּעֵינֵ֣י אֲדֹנָ֑י כִּ֚י שָׁאַ֣ל שְׁלֹמֹ֔ה אֶת־הַדָּבָ֖ר הַזֶּֽה׃
  
  11 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אֱלֹהִ֜ים אֵלָ֗יו יַעַן֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר שָׁאַ֜לְתָּ אֶת־הַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֗ה וְלֹֽא־שָׁאַ֨לְתָּ לְּךָ֜ יָמִ֣ים רַבִּ֗ים וְלֹֽא־שָׁאַ֤לְתָּ לְּךָ֙ עֹ֔שֶׁר וְלֹ֥א שָׁאַ֖לְתָּ נֶ֣פֶשׁ אֹיְבֶ֑יךָ וְשָׁאַ֧לְתָּ לְּךָ֛ הָבִ֖ין לִשְׁמֹ֥עַ מִשְׁפָּֽט׃
  
  12 הִנֵּ֥ה עָשִׂ֖יתִי כִּדְבָרֶ֑יךָ הִנֵּ֣ה ׀ נָתַ֣תִּי לְךָ֗ לֵ֚ב חָכָ֣ם וְנָב֔וֹן אֲשֶׁ֤ר כָּמ֙וֹךָ֙ לֹא־הָיָ֣ה לְפָנֶ֔יךָ וְאַחֲרֶ֖יךָ לֹא־יָק֥וּם כָּמֽוֹךָ׃
  
  13 וְגַ֨ם אֲשֶׁ֤ר לֹֽא־שָׁאַ֙לְתָּ֙ נָתַ֣תִּי לָ֔ךְ גַּם־עֹ֖שֶׁר גַּם־כָּב֑וֹד אֲ֠שֶׁר לֹא־הָיָ֨ה כָמ֥וֹךָ אִ֛ישׁ בַּמְּלָכִ֖ים כָּל־יָמֶֽיךָ׃
  
  14 וְאִ֣ם ׀ תֵּלֵ֣ךְ בִּדְרָכַ֗י לִשְׁמֹ֤ר חֻקַּי֙ וּמִצְוֺתַ֔י כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר הָלַ֖ךְ דָּוִ֣יד אָבִ֑יךָ וְהַאַרַכְתִּ֖י אֶת־יָמֶֽיךָ׃
  
  15 וַיִּקַ֥ץ שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה וְהִנֵּ֣ה חֲל֑וֹם וַיָּב֨וֹא יְרוּשָׁלִַ֜ם וַֽיַּעֲמֹ֣ד ׀ לִפְנֵ֣י ׀ אֲר֣וֹן בְּרִית־אֲדֹנָ֗י וַיַּ֤עַל עֹלוֹת֙ וַיַּ֣עַשׂ שְׁלָמִ֔ים וַיַּ֥עַשׂ מִשְׁתֶּ֖ה לְכָל־עֲבָדָֽיו׃
  
  16 אָ֣ז תָּבֹ֗אנָה שְׁתַּ֛יִם נָשִׁ֥ים זֹנ֖וֹת אֶל־הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ וַֽתַּעֲמֹ֖דְנָה לְפָנָֽיו׃
  
  17 וַתֹּ֜אמֶר הָאִשָּׁ֤ה הָֽאַחַת֙ בִּ֣י אֲדֹנִ֔י אֲנִי֙ וְהָאִשָּׁ֣ה הַזֹּ֔את יֹשְׁבֹ֖ת בְּבַ֣יִת אֶחָ֑ד וָאֵלֵ֥ד עִמָּ֖הּ בַּבָּֽיִת׃
  
  18 וַיְהִ֞י בַּיּ֤וֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁי֙ לְלִדְתִּ֔י וַתֵּ֖לֶד גַּם־הָאִשָּׁ֣ה הַזֹּ֑את וַאֲנַ֣חְנוּ יַחְדָּ֗ו אֵֽין־זָ֤ר אִתָּ֙נוּ֙ בַּבַּ֔יִת זוּלָתִ֥י שְׁתַּֽיִם־אֲנַ֖חְנוּ בַּבָּֽיִת׃
  
  19 וַיָּ֛מָת בֶּן־הָאִשָּׁ֥ה הַזֹּ֖את לָ֑יְלָה אֲשֶׁ֥ר שָׁכְבָ֖ה עָלָֽיו׃
  
  20 וַתָּקָם֩ בְּת֨וֹךְ הַלַּ֜יְלָה וַתִּקַּ֧ח אֶת־בְּנִ֣י מֵֽאֶצְלִ֗י וַאֲמָֽתְךָ֙ יְשֵׁנָ֔ה וַתַּשְׁכִּיבֵ֖הוּ בְּחֵיקָ֑הּ וְאֶת־בְּנָ֥הּ הַמֵּ֖ת הִשְׁכִּ֥יבָה בְחֵיקִֽי׃
  
  21 וָאָקֻ֥ם בַּבֹּ֛קֶר לְהֵינִ֥יק אֶת־בְּנִ֖י וְהִנֵּה־מֵ֑ת וָאֶתְבּוֹנֵ֤ן אֵלָיו֙ בַּבֹּ֔קֶר וְהִנֵּ֛ה לֹֽא־הָיָ֥ה בְנִ֖י אֲשֶׁ֥ר יָלָֽדְתִּי׃
  
  22 וַתֹּאמֶר֩ הָאִשָּׁ֨ה הָאַחֶ֜רֶת לֹ֣א כִ֗י בְּנִ֤י הַחַי֙ וּבְנֵ֣ךְ הַמֵּ֔ת וְזֹ֤את אֹמֶ֙רֶת֙ לֹ֣א כִ֔י בְּנֵ֥ךְ הַמֵּ֖ת וּבְנִ֣י הֶחָ֑י וַתְּדַבֵּ֖רְנָה לִפְנֵ֥י הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃
  
  23 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ זֹ֣את אֹמֶ֔רֶת זֶה־בְּנִ֥י הַחַ֖י וּבְנֵ֣ךְ הַמֵּ֑ת וְזֹ֤את אֹמֶ֙רֶת֙ לֹ֣א כִ֔י בְּנֵ֥ךְ הַמֵּ֖ת וּבְנִ֥י הֶחָֽי׃
  
  24 וַיֹּ֥אמֶר הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ קְח֣וּ לִי־חָ֑רֶב וַיָּבִ֥אוּ הַחֶ֖רֶב לִפְנֵ֥י הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃
  
  25 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ גִּזְר֛וּ אֶת־הַיֶּ֥לֶד הַחַ֖י לִשְׁנָ֑יִם וּתְנ֤וּ אֶֽת־הַחֲצִי֙ לְאַחַ֔ת וְאֶֽת־הַחֲצִ֖י לְאֶחָֽת׃
  
  26 וַתֹּ֣אמֶר הָאִשָּׁה֩ אֲשֶׁר־בְּנָ֨הּ הַחַ֜י אֶל־הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ כִּֽי־נִכְמְר֣וּ רַחֲמֶיהָ֮ עַל־בְּנָהּ֒ וַתֹּ֣אמֶר ׀ בִּ֣י אֲדֹנִ֗י תְּנוּ־לָהּ֙ אֶת־הַיָּל֣וּד הַחַ֔י וְהָמֵ֖ת אַל־תְּמִיתֻ֑הוּ וְזֹ֣את אֹמֶ֗רֶת גַּם־לִ֥י גַם־לָ֛ךְ לֹ֥א יִהְיֶ֖ה גְּזֹֽרוּ׃
  
  27 וַיַּ֨עַן הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ וַיֹּ֗אמֶר תְּנוּ־לָהּ֙ אֶת־הַיָּל֣וּד הַחַ֔י וְהָמֵ֖ת לֹ֣א תְמִיתֻ֑הוּ הִ֖יא אִמּֽוֹ׃
  
  28 וַיִּשְׁמְע֣וּ כָל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל אֶת־הַמִּשְׁפָּט֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר שָׁפַ֣ט הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וַיִּֽרְא֖וּ מִפְּנֵ֣י הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ כִּ֣י רָא֔וּ כִּֽי־חָכְמַ֧ת אֱלֹהִ֛ים בְּקִרְבּ֖וֹ לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת מִשְׁפָּֽט׃

  2 בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם הִנָּבֵ֖א עַל־רוֹעֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל הִנָּבֵ֣א וְאָמַרְתָּ֩ אֲלֵיהֶ֨ם לָרֹעִ֜ים כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֣ר ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֗ה ה֤וֹי רֹעֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ אֲשֶׁ֤ר הָיוּ֙ רֹעִ֣ים אוֹתָ֔ם הֲל֣וֹא הַצֹּ֔אן יִרְע֖וּ הָרֹעִֽים׃
  
  3 אֶת־הַחֵ֤לֶב תֹּאכֵ֙לוּ֙ וְאֶת־הַצֶּ֣מֶר תִּלְבָּ֔שׁוּ הַבְּרִיאָ֖ה תִּזְבָּ֑חוּ הַצֹּ֖אן לֹ֥א תִרְעֽוּ׃
  
  4 אֶֽת־הַנַּחְלוֹת֩ לֹ֨א חִזַּקְתֶּ֜ם וְאֶת־הַחוֹלָ֣ה לֹֽא־רִפֵּאתֶ֗ם וְלַנִּשְׁבֶּ֙רֶת֙ לֹ֣א חֲבַשְׁתֶּ֔ם וְאֶת־הַנִּדַּ֙חַת֙ לֹ֣א הֲשֵׁבֹתֶ֔ם וְאֶת־הָאֹבֶ֖דֶת לֹ֣א בִקַּשְׁתֶּ֑ם וּבְחָזְקָ֛ה רְדִיתֶ֥ם אֹתָ֖ם וּבְפָֽרֶךְ׃
  
  5 וַתְּפוּצֶ֖ינָה מִבְּלִ֣י רֹעֶ֑ה וַתִּהְיֶ֧ינָה לְאָכְלָ֛ה לְכָל־חַיַּ֥ת הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה וַתְּפוּצֶֽינָה׃
  
  6 יִשְׁגּ֤וּ צֹאנִי֙ בְּכָל־הֶ֣הָרִ֔ים וְעַ֖ל כָּל־גִּבְעָ֣ה רָמָ֑ה וְעַ֨ל כָּל־פְּנֵ֤י הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ נָפֹ֣צוּ צֹאנִ֔י וְאֵ֥ין דּוֹרֵ֖שׁ וְאֵ֥ין מְבַקֵּֽשׁ׃
  
  7 לָכֵ֣ן רֹעִ֔ים שִׁמְע֖וּ אֶת־דְּבַ֥ר יְהוָֽה׃
  
  8 חַי־אָ֜נִי נְאֻ֣ם ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֗ה אִם־לֹ֣א יַ֣עַן הֱיֽוֹת־צֹאנִ֣י ׀ לָבַ֡ז וַתִּֽהְיֶינָה֩ צֹאנִ֨י לְאָכְלָ֜ה לְכָל־חַיַּ֤ת הַשָּׂדֶה֙ מֵאֵ֣ין רֹעֶ֔ה וְלֹֽא־דָרְשׁ֥וּ רֹעַ֖י אֶת־צֹאנִ֑י וַיִּרְע֤וּ הָֽרֹעִים֙ אוֹתָ֔ם וְאֶת־צֹאנִ֖י לֹ֥א רָעֽוּ׃
  
  9 לָכֵן֙ הָֽרֹעִ֔ים שִׁמְע֖וּ דְּבַר־יְהוָֽה׃
  
  10 כֹּה־אָמַ֞ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֗ה הִנְנִ֨י אֶֽל־הָרֹעִ֜ים וְֽדָרַשְׁתִּ֧י אֶת־צֹאנִ֣י מִיָּדָ֗ם וְהִשְׁבַּתִּים֙ מֵרְע֣וֹת צֹ֔אן וְלֹא־יִרְע֥וּ ע֛וֹד הָרֹעִ֖ים אוֹתָ֑ם וְהִצַּלְתִּ֤י צֹאנִי֙ מִפִּיהֶ֔ם וְלֹֽא־תִהְיֶ֥יןָ לָהֶ֖ם לְאָכְלָֽה׃
  
  11 כִּ֛י כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֑ה הִנְנִי־אָ֕נִי וְדָרַשְׁתִּ֥י אֶת־צֹאנִ֖י וּבִקַּרְתִּֽים׃
  
  12 כְּבַקָּרַת֩ רֹעֶ֨ה עֶדְר֜וֹ בְּיוֹם־הֱיוֹת֤וֹ בְתוֹךְ־צֹאנוֹ֙ נִפְרָשׁ֔וֹת כֵּ֖ן אֲבַקֵּ֣ר אֶת־צֹאנִ֑י וְהִצַּלְתִּ֣י אֶתְהֶ֗ם מִכָּל־הַמְּקוֹמֹת֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר נָפֹ֣צוּ שָׁ֔ם בְּי֥וֹם עָנָ֖ן וַעֲרָפֶֽל׃
  
  13 וְהוֹצֵאתִ֣ים מִן־הָעַמִּ֗ים וְקִבַּצְתִּים֙ מִן־הָ֣אֲרָצ֔וֹת וַהֲבִיאֹתִ֖ים אֶל־אַדְמָתָ֑ם וּרְעִיתִים֙ אֶל־הָרֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל בָּאֲפִיקִ֕ים וּבְכֹ֖ל מוֹשְׁבֵ֥י הָאָֽרֶץ׃
  
  14 בְּמִרְעֶה־טּוֹב֙ אֶרְעֶ֣ה אֹתָ֔ם וּבְהָרֵ֥י מְרֽוֹם־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל יִהְיֶ֣ה נְוֵהֶ֑ם שָׁ֤ם תִּרְבַּ֙צְנָה֙ בְּנָ֣וֶה טּ֔וֹב וּמִרְעֶ֥ה שָׁמֵ֛ן תִּרְעֶ֖ינָה אֶל־הָרֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
  
  15 אֲנִ֨י אֶרְעֶ֤ה צֹאנִי֙ וַאֲנִ֣י אַרְבִּיצֵ֔ם נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃
  
  16 אֶת־הָאֹבֶ֤דֶת אֲבַקֵּשׁ֙ וְאֶת־הַנִּדַּ֣חַת אָשִׁ֔יב וְלַנִּשְׁבֶּ֣רֶת אֶחֱבֹ֔שׁ וְאֶת־הַחוֹלָ֖ה אֲחַזֵּ֑ק וְאֶת־הַשְּׁמֵנָ֧ה וְאֶת־הַחֲזָקָ֛ה אַשְׁמִ֖יד אֶרְעֶ֥נָּה בְמִשְׁפָּֽט׃
  
  17 וְאַתֵּ֣נָה צֹאנִ֔י כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֑ה הִנְנִ֤י שֹׁפֵט֙ בֵּֽין־שֶׂ֣ה לָשֶׂ֔ה לָאֵילִ֖ים וְלָעַתּוּדִֽים׃
  
  18 הַמְעַ֣ט מִכֶּ֗ם הַמִּרְעֶ֤ה הַטּוֹב֙ תִּרְע֔וּ וְיֶ֙תֶר֙ מִרְעֵיכֶ֔ם תִּרְמְס֖וּ בְּרַגְלֵיכֶ֑ם וּמִשְׁקַע־מַ֣יִם תִּשְׁתּ֔וּ וְאֵת֙ הַנּ֣וֹתָרִ֔ים בְּרַגְלֵיכֶ֖ם תִּרְפֹּשֽׂוּן׃
  
  19 וְצֹאנִ֑י מִרְמַ֤ס רַגְלֵיכֶם֙ תִּרְעֶ֔ינָה וּמִרְפַּ֥שׂ רַגְלֵיכֶ֖ם תִּשְׁתֶּֽינָה׃
  
  20 לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֛ר אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִ֖ה אֲלֵיהֶ֑ם הִנְנִי־אָ֕נִי וְשָֽׁפַטְתִּי֙ בֵּֽין־שֶׂ֣ה בִרְיָ֔ה וּבֵ֥ין שֶׂ֖ה רָזָֽה׃
  
  21 יַ֗עַן בְּצַ֤ד וּבְכָתֵף֙ תֶּהְדֹּ֔פוּ וּבְקַרְנֵיכֶ֥ם תְּנַגְּח֖וּ כָּל־הַנַּחְל֑וֹת עַ֣ד אֲשֶׁ֧ר הֲפִיצוֹתֶ֛ם אוֹתָ֖נָה אֶל־הַחֽוּצָה׃
  
  22 וְהוֹשַׁעְתִּ֣י לְצֹאנִ֔י וְלֹֽא־תִהְיֶ֥ינָה ע֖וֹד לָבַ֑ז וְשָׁ֣פַטְתִּ֔י בֵּ֥ין שֶׂ֖ה לָשֶֽׂה׃
  
  23 וַהֲקִמֹתִ֨י עֲלֵיהֶ֜ם רֹעֶ֤ה אֶחָד֙ וְרָעָ֣ה אֶתְהֶ֔ן אֵ֖ת עַבְדִּ֣י דָוִ֑יד ה֚וּא יִרְעֶ֣ה אֹתָ֔ם וְהֽוּא־יִהְיֶ֥ה לָהֶ֖ן לְרֹעֶֽה׃
  
  24 וַאֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֗ה אֶהְיֶ֤ה לָהֶם֙ לֵֽאלֹהִ֔ים וְעַבְדִּ֥י דָוִ֖ד נָשִׂ֣יא בְתוֹכָ֑ם אֲנִ֥י יְהוָ֖ה דִּבַּֽרְתִּי׃
  
  25 וְכָרַתִּ֤י לָהֶם֙ בְּרִ֣ית שָׁל֔וֹם וְהִשְׁבַּתִּ֥י חַיָּֽה־רָעָ֖ה מִן־הָאָ֑רֶץ וְיָשְׁב֤וּ בַמִּדְבָּר֙ לָבֶ֔טַח וְיָשְׁנ֖וּ בַּיְּעָרִֽים׃
  
  26 וְנָתַתִּ֥י אוֹתָ֛ם וּסְבִיב֥וֹת גִּבְעָתִ֖י בְּרָכָ֑ה וְהוֹרַדְתִּ֤י הַגֶּ֙שֶׁם֙ בְּעִתּ֔וֹ גִּשְׁמֵ֥י בְרָכָ֖ה יִֽהְיֽוּ׃
  
  27 וְנָתַן֩ עֵ֨ץ הַשָּׂדֶ֜ה אֶת־פִּרְי֗וֹ וְהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ תִּתֵּ֣ן יְבוּלָ֔הּ וְהָי֥וּ עַל־אַדְמָתָ֖ם לָבֶ֑טַח וְֽיָדְע֞וּ כִּי־אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֗ה בְּשִׁבְרִי֙ אֶת־מֹט֣וֹת עֻלָּ֔ם וְהִ֨צַּלְתִּ֔ים מִיַּ֖ד הָעֹבְדִ֥ים בָּהֶֽם׃
  
  28 וְלֹא־יִהְי֨וּ ע֥וֹד בַּז֙ לַגּוֹיִ֔ם וְחַיַּ֥ת הָאָ֖רֶץ לֹ֣א תֹאכְלֵ֑ם וְיָשְׁב֥וּ לָבֶ֖טַח וְאֵ֥ין מַחֲרִֽיד׃
  
  29 וַהֲקִמֹתִ֥י לָהֶ֛ם מַטָּ֖ע לְשֵׁ֑ם וְלֹֽא־יִהְי֨וּ ע֜וֹד אֲסֻפֵ֤י רָעָב֙ בָּאָ֔רֶץ וְלֹֽא־יִשְׂא֥וּ ע֖וֹד כְּלִמַּ֥ת הַגּוֹיִֽם׃
  
  30 וְיָדְע֗וּ כִּ֣י אֲנִ֧י יְהוָ֛ה אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֖ם אִתָּ֑ם וְהֵ֗מָּה עַמִּי֙ בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃
  
  31 וְאַתֵּ֥ן צֹאנִ֛י צֹ֥אן מַרְעִיתִ֖י אָדָ֣ם אַתֶּ֑ם אֲנִי֙ אֱלֹ֣הֵיכֶ֔ם נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃

  1 Παῦλος ἀπόστολος Χριστοῦ Ἰησοῦ διὰ θελήματος θεοῦ τοῖς ἁγίοις τοῖς οὖσιν [ἐν Ἐφέσῳ] καὶ πιστοῖς ἐν Χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ·
  
  2 χάρις ὑμῖν καὶ εἰρήνη ἀπὸ θεοῦ πατρὸς ἡμῶν καὶ κυρίου Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ.
  
  3 Εὐλογητὸς ὁ θεὸς καὶ πατὴρ τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ, ὁ εὐλογήσας ἡμᾶς ἐν πάσῃ εὐλογίᾳ πνευματικῇ ἐν τοῖς ἐπουρανίοις ἐν Χριστῷ,
  
  4 καθὼς ἐξελέξατο ἡμᾶς ἐν αὐτῷ πρὸ καταβολῆς κόσμου, εἶναι ἡμᾶς ἁγίους καὶ ἀμώμους κατενώπιον αὐτοῦ ἐν ἀγάπῃ,
  
  5 προορίσας ἡμᾶς εἰς υἱοθεσίαν διὰ Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ εἰς αὐτόν, κατὰ τὴν εὐδοκίαν τοῦ θελήματος αὐτοῦ,
  
  6 εἰς ἔπαινον δόξης τῆς χάριτος αὐτοῦ ἧς ἐχαρίτωσεν ἡμᾶς ἐν τῷ ἠγαπημένῳ,
  
  7 ἐν ᾧ ἔχομεν τὴν ἀπολύτρωσιν διὰ τοῦ αἵματος αὐτοῦ, τὴν ἄφεσιν τῶν παραπτωμάτων, κατὰ τὸ πλοῦτος τῆς χάριτος αὐτοῦ
  
  8 ἧς ἐπερίσσευσεν εἰς ἡμᾶς ἐν πάσῃ σοφίᾳ καὶ φρονήσει
  
  9 γνωρίσας ἡμῖν τὸ μυστήριον τοῦ θελήματος αὐτοῦ, κατὰ τὴν εὐδοκίαν αὐτοῦ ἣν προέθετο ἐν αὐτῷ
  
  10 εἰς οἰκονομίαν τοῦ πληρώματος τῶν καιρῶν, ἀνακεφαλαιώσασθαι τὰ πάντα ἐν τῷ Χριστῷ, τὰ ἐπὶ τοῖς οὐρανοῖς καὶ τὰ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς· ἐν αὐτῷ,
  
  11 ἐν ᾧ καὶ ἐκληρώθημεν προορισθέντες κατὰ πρόθεσιν τοῦ τὰ πάντα ἐνεργοῦντος κατὰ τὴν βουλὴν τοῦ θελήματος αὐτοῦ,
  
  12 εἰς τὸ εἶναι ἡμᾶς εἰς ἔπαινον δόξης αὐτοῦ τοὺς προηλπικότας ἐν τῷ Χριστῷ·
  
  13 ἐν ᾧ καὶ ὑμεῖς ἀκούσαντες τὸν λόγον τῆς ἀληθείας, τὸ εὐαγγέλιον τῆς σωτηρίας ὑμῶν, ἐν ᾧ καὶ πιστεύσαντες ἐσφραγίσθητε τῷ πνεύματι τῆς ἐπαγγελίας τῷ ἁγίῳ,
  
  14 ὅ ἐστιν ἀρραβὼν τῆς κληρονομίας ἡμῶν, εἰς ἀπολύτρωσιν τῆς περιποιήσεως, εἰς ἔπαινον τῆς δόξης αὐτοῦ.
  
  15 Διὰ τοῦτο κἀγώ, ἀκούσας τὴν καθ’ ὑμᾶς πίστιν ἐν τῷ κυρίῳ Ἰησοῦ καὶ τὴν ἀγάπην τὴν εἰς πάντας τοὺς ἁγίους,
  
  16 οὐ παύομαι εὐχαριστῶν ὑπὲρ ὑμῶν μνείαν ποιούμενος ἐπὶ τῶν προσευχῶν μου,
  
  17 ἵνα ὁ θεὸς τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ, ὁ πατὴρ τῆς δόξης, δώῃ ὑμῖν πνεῦμα σοφίας καὶ ἀποκαλύψεως ἐν ἐπιγνώσει αὐτοῦ,
  
  18 πεφωτισμένους τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς τῆς καρδίας ὑμῶν εἰς τὸ εἰδέναι ὑμᾶς τίς ἐστιν ἡ ἐλπὶς τῆς κλήσεως αὐτοῦ, τίς ὁ πλοῦτος τῆς δόξης τῆς κληρονομίας αὐτοῦ ἐν τοῖς ἁγίοις,
  
  19 καὶ τί τὸ ὑπερβάλλον μέγεθος τῆς δυνάμεως αὐτοῦ εἰς ἡμᾶς τοὺς πιστεύοντας κατὰ τὴν ἐνέργειαν τοῦ κράτους τῆς ἰσχύος αὐτοῦ
  
  20 ἣν ἐνήργηκεν ἐν τῷ Χριστῷ ἐγείρας αὐτὸν ἐκ νεκρῶν, καὶ καθίσας ἐν δεξιᾷ αὐτοῦ ἐν τοῖς ἐπουρανίοις
  
  21 ὑπεράνω πάσης ἀρχῆς καὶ ἐξουσίας καὶ δυνάμεως καὶ κυριότητος καὶ παντὸς ὀνόματος ὀνομαζομένου οὐ μόνον ἐν τῷ αἰῶνι τούτῳ ἀλλὰ καὶ ἐν τῷ μέλλοντι·
  
  22 καὶ πάντα ὑπέταξεν ὑπὸ τοὺς πόδας αὐτοῦ, καὶ αὐτὸν ἔδωκεν κεφαλὴν ὑπὲρ πάντα τῇ ἐκκλησίᾳ,
  
  23 ἥτις ἐστὶν τὸ σῶμα αὐτοῦ, τὸ πλήρωμα τοῦ τὰ πάντα ἐν πᾶσιν πληρουμένου.
